Katsu - First Demo Reel

[Katsu]

Well, this is my first ever demo reel!
This is roughly my range, I can't go very low without sounding butch. Lina is probably my lowest. XD But I can do high, med-high or chibi voices. X3 I know this is probably not that great since it's my first one, but I hope it's okay. I just got over a sore throat so some of them might be a litte weak.

Luchia - MMPPP (The worst I have ever sang LOM)

(I need to watch more anime, those are some of the only ones I know. XD)

So, tell me what you think, and I'll try to make my next demo reel better. ^^; And I'll probably put sound effectsin the next one.. this one I was so bored of mixing in song after song, I just was too lazy to put in sound effects. XD;

Oh my Gosh, Katsu, you have such an adorable speaking voice! Sugoku kawaii~! ^^ You definitely have good emotion in your demo. Your range pretty much stayed in the children to teenager sections, but I'm positive you'll develop more as time goes by. Great job!

Adorable chibi voices, and I liked the French accent you did there near the end. Perhaps make that a bit longer to showcase it. Really shows off variety. Keep up the good work.

Okay, I'ma critique now:

Haruhi- It seemed a little immature and high for Haruhi. ._. I've never really watched the anime, but my ideal voice for her would be a little lower and more mature.

Shia- I saw Pita-Ten once, but I forgot which one was Shia. xD I guess I can't say much for this one, but I know it was cute!

Yuki- *points at Haruhi critique* Same goes for here, but I think the pitch was good. It just needed to be [in my opinion] a little more mature.

Rina- She's hard to do. You need to be a lot lower and a lot more mature. I'm really being a hypocrite right now, because I can't do mature voices worth a crap either. xDDD

Ichigo- I. Love. Tokyo. Mew. Mew. YES! You are a great Ichigo! No complaints!

Kaoru- *points to Shia critique* Same applies here. ^^

Bijou- If I hadn't know better, I would have thought that you actually had a French accent! It was adorable!

Luchia- You're right. xD That's not one of your better Luchia LoMs, but I know you rock as her.

Overall, you're an amazing VAA! Cute voices are definately good for you! <3

Really? I thought my Bijou was scary. XD And Ichigo was a pain in the butt, my mic would always peak. As was Lina.. you're much better at her than me. =w=
And about Luchia, I know! D: It's like whenever I try to sound like her I don't.. o_o; I guess I'm just wierd that way~

Hey Katsu - adorable demo reel! It's obvious that you've got a very sweet voice and your cute voices are really top-notch. In the future, you may want to work on expanding your range but that also comes with time and experience, I think. I thought it was great that you added a little bit of your singing to show your abilities outside of acting but, for your next demo, I think it'd help for you to show more diversity.
