I added the last two roles when I realized that the one scene was just a bit /too/ short for me, so rather than have to wait for auditions, I just did them myself. Thanks to everyone who auditioned, most notably my cast! You were great!

Ok, my critique: There is some clipping on Mizura's lines in the first 4 minutes. I think one of them is my fault. Not sure about the other. And the driveby scene was done at 1:00 AM, so I neglected a filter and the SFX are mixed a bit poorly there.

No complaints about the cast. I loved all of you. 'cept me. XD

The Narrator's line is as follows:


New York City, circa 1925. A city on the edge. Organized crime holds the city tightly in its grasp, and the Federal government is just beginning its push to end the dons’ reign of terror. The police are powerless to stop the Mafia enforcers, whose actions sometimes spill over into the darkened streets and alleyways where the innocent cower in fear. In this climate of uncertainty, a few take on the task of helping those who cannot help themselves...For a price, of course. For the powerless, a private investigator can be a savior. Provided that they can pay the fee, of course. One such private eye is James Waters.

The cast here totally rocks. Seriously. It's so nice to hear some non-anime, non-crazy voices in a sort of film noir style. ^-^ Mm...so very nice.

And Mizu-san, you're very sexy.

Off the bat i LOVE this RP idea and script. It's grand! and i'm SO glad the mixing is amazing! ((great song choices!)) Lioncourt, Mizura, and Sparf just blew me away ^_^ great job! LC is very swoon-worthy as a detective *be still my heart* and WoW sexy sexy Mixura rawks X) & Sparf your butler is outta this world! >> no comments on myself other than that i'm so glad i was able to be a parta this X)!!!

What can I say... AMAZING!! Great idea, amazing acting, a nice change of pace from all the anime-esque stuff around. Brilliance and I can't wait for the next episode.

Very nice work! I agree, the music was awesome! Great cast. The interaction between the characters sounded pretty natural as if they were VAing in the same room. Good story, and a good break from the usual anime stuff. Great job! 8)

This was great, it just oozes atmosphere from everywhere. I must tell you that your choice of music was just dead on ^^.

Tsubasa-no-Kami - Really enjoyed your narration very emotive, you are great at setting the scene.

Mizura - Wow, very sexy and sultry, very nice performance.

Sparf - Great job on both your roles, particularly as the butler ^^.

I remember hearing or reading about this play (I believe) a little while ago. From what I have heard, its pretty good so far. If possible though, could a script for this scene be looked at? Some of the narrators lines were a little rushed and thus difficult for me to understand. :(

Lioncourt Very- Very nice acting job. I dunno if it was just me, but, I think that maybe when you were using the letter S, a whistling noise came about. That was kinda annoying. But that's just a miniscule thing. Nice job! ^_^
Mizura- Very nice! I don't think I've heard you before.
Sparf- Great, as usual. Nice mixing Job. ^_^

Overall: Great acting, and great music. Loved it loved it loved it!
