Cake Batter's Anastasia Tests [Critique plz? :3]

Admittedly, it's somewhat embarassing to be posting these .. but I can get over it. :P Yes, SuKi's and my school is doing Anastasia this year, and I'm auditioning as well. :>

I'm somewhat at a loss for who to audition for, so I figured "Why not?" and decided to try for Anya. (Yes, the part everyone and their mom wants. I sure know how to choose 'em, I know.) It can't hurt to try, and the worst that can happen is that I'll just be cast as a peasant instead--which I'm totally fine with.

I'd love some critiques, so I recorded both a singing reel and an acting reel. I'm newer at the whole acting thing, so sorry for the sheer suckage. I also apologize for the bad quality. My mic decided to suck today.

Overall though, I'd like to know if there's some potential in there or if I'm better off not trying for the lead.

Singing: I have a sliding problem, I know. Especially at the end of Journey to the Past. I don't always do that though, so I'm sure it's fixable. Singing, I'm pretty confident on, but if any one has any suggestions for improvement: By all means, POST.

Acting: I messed up the lines/paraphrased them a bit. I feel like I could use some more emotion. I also think that at the same time, I sound too dramatic. Any more advice is LOVED basically. I know I suck, so be as harsh as you need to be.

Okay, before I start, I just want to say I am EXTREMEEELYYY happy that you're trying out for Anastasia, because the lack of seniors and the double casting means you stand a HUGE chance of getting her.

Singing: Once Upon a December is the most gorgeous sample of your voice I've ever heard. Your tone in it was SOOO beautiful, I think it's because I ususally don't hear you singing something so low, and you have a really pretty lower range. Journey had some things, but mostly, I think it was saying on the key. Once you're actually singing it with backing, that won't be a problem for you, I think you just had trouble finding where to live. :P That'll take care of the sliding issue too, I've resolved I'm not sliding to that but just getting up on the note directly, because I have trouble reaching that note by sliding too. But overall, gorgeous! ^^

Acting: Haha, very good! It's so weird, it's like a side to Beej I've never seen before :PPP Very nicely done, just try to be more angry on the last line. That's all I had. :PP
