Trick-or-Treat

It's Halloween night and all the children are dressed up and ready to get some free candy. Your group is ready to go down your route, excited for the night to come. But it appears that a witch has cast a spell, causing some of you to hunger more for blood than candy...

Game Play and Rules:
- Standard Mafia Rules and Game Procedures apply. Don't know them? Learn them. [Rules] (http://voiceactingalliance.com/board/showthread.php?t=23411)
- You can chit-chat about whatever you like when on the sidewalk (day time).
- Keep talking to a minimum when crossing the street (night time). Do not talk about game related stuff at night.
- Trick-or-treat cycles will take place first and may or may not influence the game in some way. Lynch voting will begin after the trick-or-treat cycle has run it's course.
- More information on Trick-or-treating will be given as we play. Don't worry, I will guide you through it.
- *DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE GAME OUTSIDE THE TREAD* unless your role specifically states that you can.
- Ties result in double lynches. No votes and someone gets lynched randomly.

- Town wins when all the Mafia are dead. Mafia wins when they make up half the Town.

Rules for Being Dead:
- Your ghost can haunt the group if you want to but YOU MAY NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE GAME! (This also applies if you have been replaced by someone else.)
- Try not to be too distracting.
- If you are dead and do in some way contribute to the game, I reserve the right to ban you from the next game that I run. I take this rule very seriously as it has nearly ruined several games in the past, so make sure you're alive before you say something important.

Let's Go Trick-or-Treating!:
- By signing up you are stating that you have read all the rules and will agree to follow them.
- When you sign up pick a number between 1-15. Numbers will not effect your role, but may effect your trick-or-treat results. If you want a random number, they will be given out in numerical order.
- After you sign up, kindly PM me your costume and who will answer the door to your house (i.e. Parent, sister. butler, dog, etc.)
- Don't let the rules scare you. This is going to be fun! Let's do it! ^_^

Bright eyed and excited, your group approaches the first house. Margo runs and gets there first, hitting the button for the doorbell. The bells chime, sounding suspiciously like Hedwig's theme from Harry Potter, and girl dressed in a velvet cloak and checkered hat answers the door.

"Trick-or-Treat!"

"Trick-or-treat indeed," she says in a dark mysterious voice. "Tonight will present you with many tricks and treats indeed. Enjoy the night, but be warned. Not all in your group can be trusted. Something Wicked comes your way, and it hungers not for your candy, but for your blood!" The lights flicker, thunder from nowhere rumbes, and the girl laughs insanely as your group runs away screaming.

"Hey wait, don't you want your candy?"

But you don't want candy. You just want to get away from the crazy, and get the evil out of your group!

Some kids around our block had those. I never liked them - I thought they were WAY too small, so once it fills up, the parent thinks that's it for the night.

I mean, now that I think back on it, I guess the pumpkin-shaped container is good for a 5 year old, for the younger trick-or-treaters... since they probably can't eat that much candy anyway... but once you start nearing the age of 10, really, get a bag for heaven's sake. You'd be robbing yourself out of good candy, because the pumpkin gets filled up too quickly. ._.

I had one of those! 8D But it was shaped like a black cat. :)

But see what you do is you use the pumpkin container and then when it fills you dump it into the dump box in the car and then keep going. That way the load you carry isn't too heavy and you have the energy to keep going.

(See, we always lived in this obscure corner of town where almost nobody lived, so we had to get in the car and drive about 10 minutes to the good candy grounds. ^_^;; )
