Earlier this year, I took the chance of doing a fan dub of the Japanese single episode series called Zone. Unlike Victory, this Zone dub is all mine, except for that I didn't write the script, really (which is usually done by the producer). Anyway, it's the best dub I've done, really.
Cast list:
Trey Tackett – Kain
Christer Nyberg – Violenjiger
Chris Ho – Countdown, Fixit
Eric Jones – Rabbicrater
Daniel Ross – Overlord, Sonic Bomber
Frank Todaro – Akira, Black Zarak, Storm Cloud
Matt Nelson – Dai Atlas
Tom Baril-Bissett – Piranacon
Scott M – Devastator, Sunrunner, Gingham
Peter Tagtstrom – Menasor, Emusa, Narrator
Rob Michel – Abominus
John Patrick – Predaking
Aaron Baldwin – Victory Saber
Lawrence Brenner – Trypticon
Tomas Guinan – Stakeout
Rory Hoy - Whisper
Brandon Williams – Additional Voices
Check it out! :D Here:

OMFG!! I LOVE TRANSFORMERS!!! and the micromasters are so cute ;___________;
*ahem* er.. anyway..
overall, i'd have to say it was an excellent dub =^^.= the voices for the most part seemed to fit, and the synching of the words to lip movement turned out superbly. actingwise, no complaints, although i can't say i expected much from transformers =^^.=;;; (er.. don't get me wrong, it's just so much of the time all cheesy heroic, so it's not THAT hard to pull it off... er.. i'm just gonna shut up now xx;;)
the only complaints i would have would be that sometimes, the voices were drowned out by the sound effects, and so some lines were lost. also, some of the voices of the decepticons (especially the leader.. keep forgetting his name..), and the bunny thing whose name i also forget were a bit hard to understand sometimes, just because of the voice itself. also, the person who played that girl from earth didn't seem to have the bestest mic in the world x_X
er.. anyway, me say excellent job, and me definitely looking forward to more transformers!
nyu!

oh, and the version you have there is low band, for obvious reasons.. but would there happen to be a highband version too? cause if there is, i'd love a link to a site i could get it =^^.=

That I will say was better, much better than Victory in my opinion. The acting was much better and voices were done well. I remember having like half the toys that were featured on there, like alot of the Zone bases, and micro transformers.....but I don't remember ever seeing those Decepticons let alone Victory Saber sadly......but still it was nice, and this time the human hero did sound better!

We've done a few "mistakes" (I don't really know what to call it) when it comes to casting in Victory, and I agree on all your comments on it. We (two producers) are aware of it.
There's a much better version available on the Iaconhub (hub.iaconhub.com on Direct connect), and I have an even better version than that on my hard drive.
Thanks for watching the episodes!

Check out my first fan dub ever, Scramble City FV! http://he-man.dyndns.tv/ScrambleCityFV.avi
Scramble City is a G1 original series episode made for Japanese audience only, and it ends with a never solved cliffhanger. Hope you'll like it.

Wicked, wicked, wicked. Never say the original, so thanks for sharing!
High quality stuff, the few subtle comments were already mentioned above.
Next time, be sure to let us know when you're holding auditions for anything Transformers related please, thanks! :)

Scramble City wasn't bad at all.....good impressions of the original voices, but what kind of gets to me still is some transformers have got the metallic sound.......while others done.........

Okay got time to write up a better review.
I noticed the opening was a remix track, but it seemed to get a lil funky near the end, I don't know why maybe it was just the mixing involved...but still I liked that with the original sfx mixed in, it was very nestolgic.
VOICES: My only complaint like I said previously, is that not all the Transformers sounded robotic enough like the professionals did back in those days. I really liked how close Starscream, Prime and a few other famous characters were done so closely to the real voices, it was fantastic.
Megatrons meleficent laughing was spot on, it made me wanna cry with a happy tear, I really did enjoy it. But his voice was far too loud for the movie and kind of overtook everyone else.
Sound wave was great, very sound wave esque in my opinion.
Story - Story was nice, about the creation of Metroplex, one of teh biggest baddest transformers of all time. But what got to me is....well....what ever the Autobots tried the Decipticons were on the same page. They got Devestator, we got Airial Bots, they got Brotocus, and Menasaur, we got........uh.....protectobots......heh.
We got Metroplex, and suddenly they got dammit what was his name.....I always call hiim Mechazilla cause that's all he is to me.....Tripticon that was it. Him and Metro fighting is like a revamp never ending battle with King Kong and Godzilla.
SFX- Amazing on how you got original SFX for this stuff, right down to Transformation sounds...I really enjoyed that. I've seen those having to really change.
