Hey. I was wondering if anyone could help me find some SFX for a large fight scene. Here is what I am looking for.

crashes
lasers
explosions
airplanes
fast jets
Sounds of nature (Wind, rain, lightening striking, thunder etc)
guns
large heavy footsteps(like robots)

This is for an X-men radioplay, so really anything that sounds like some powers and stuff..would really do.

www.sounddogs.com should have what you're looking for. That's where I (and most people) find SFX's.

I love getting sounds at The Freesound Project, and I know I've seen mention of that site elsewhere here at the forum. http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/

Freesound is similar to the VAA - Amateur sound recordists post sound recordings and original mixes/creations free for general usage, though they request that you credit/attribute usages according to their licensing agreement.

They have a fabulous range of sounds and an easy search tool. Registration is free. Highly recommended!

This will seem odd, but go to the TFCog (a Transformers fandub page) and download some of their excellent sound FX packs they use in their dubs. Lots of good stuff in there that doesn't just apply to robots!
