Kitsu and Sis' sig comes really close.
But in the end, I choose Kitsu's Sig because of the nice winter style abstract, nice match to the render itself. I think the text is alittle big, yet I love it just as much. As for why I chosed it over Sis' sig, I don't think the text fits too well with the sig itself, but I still love the fractal style brush.

Becuase it is SO awsome (is addicted to that anime, Makoto is a Bastard so on so forth) and I love the comicy effect~

I'm voting for Kazuki. Although the construction of the banner itself is certainly a bit big in height, the style is very unique, and I love the effects that were used. The one thing that bothers me is the cursive in the bottom corner. It seems rather pixellated, compared to the rest of the image; a sharp contrast on the banner that clashes slightly. Not a big deal, but just something I noticed. The paleness of the colors, and the soft gradient-like effect is really nice; what captured my attention the most was the fact that it managed to pull off the "ethereal" effect wonderfully. Normally, a banner like this, with plenty of white in it, would look a bit out of place and perhaps even bright, but this appears to balance out everything quite nicely! Truly a wonderful job, especially with the extraction of the character. Did I also mention that the blending from the character to the banner was also executed quite nicely?

It's simple, but not. There's a nice balance between a sort of elegant and mysterious tones to it. I really like it.



I know nothing about graphics, but I really wanted to leave some sort of "critique" for everyone. So, erm, here we go :D...

Mirielle -
Your sig is hillarious, and so true. (I'm up for killing Makoto!) But, I dunno..the green clashes with the purple-ish art on the left. I liked how you used softer brushed to try to match it better, but it's still clashing. The "Okay then" was a nice touch, but for some reason...I think because of the font...it's also taking away from the signature itself. When I first look at this, my eyes go to the "Okay then" first.

The sig background is really nice :p And I like the overall effect, but the font is really bothering me. It doesn't look nice with the rest of the sig that looks pretty. It's hard to read, and it terribly clashes with the feel the signature gives. Like, I feel a sort of bloody kind of violent feeling...and the font is more creepy and scary.

I really liked your sig too. There's something about the font and the girl's face that's really bugging me though.

Very creative idea! I like how the picture pops out of the sig. The overall graphic itself sticks out to me. Except, it's not a very ideal sig you can stick in your signature. It's pretty big ^^; The font in the right hand corner looks very smooshed and sort of scraggly. I kind of imagine a little more elegant, spaced out sort of font for Subaru's name.

The background images are really hard to see. I have no idea what the picture on the left is. I know it should be blended a bit, but still to the point where you can see them, right? I think it'd look better with just the gold/green background just there and no other images blended in. Also, it's really hard to see the words "Naruto" in there. All I see is "Naru." You might want to change that too.

Elsa -
I think the Haruhi is slightly too transparent, but I really like the background. Unless you're a really big fan, I guess this wouldn't bother you much, but the font doesn't really go with Haruhi [to me.] It seemds kinda preppy/girly sort of feel...and well, Haruhi is not quite preppy/girly XD. The main focus should be the picture in the middle, but when I first saw your banner, the first thing I saw was the text...and then I noticed how the text didn't fit very well with everything else.

Well I haven't made sigs in a while and this was my first one after a long time and well I was going for the bloody violent with a little scary feel on it cuz I wanted it to make it sorta express the feeling I got from the show. I didn't want too much of a scary feeling in it though.
