The Negaverse is planning to destroy the world, and their first target is, predictably, Tokyo! Our only hope is former ditzy crybaby Sailor Moon and the other Sailor Soldiers.. if she can find them.


:: THE GAME ::

This is Mafia, with a Sailor Moon theme (specifically the first season.) In many ways this game will operate like a regular Mafia game. Voting will be done during the day, nefarious deeds will be done at night. While this is a theme game, it is possible to enjoy the game without knowing a thing about Sailor Moon. However, being familiar with the series does have it's benefits.

There will be twenty players. In addition, three alternates will be allowed to sign up. Alternates will take the place of other players in the case of player unavailability or removal. Players will be handed roles and teams. In this game, the Negaverse is the Mafia. All others are considered Town.

Do your best to help Sailor Moon awaken the rest of the Sailor Team, and destroy the Negaverse before they destroy you!


:: RULES ::

- Do not declare your role. Anyone caught roleclaiming will be taken out of the game and replaced.
- No outside discussion of the game unless it is stated that you may within your role information.
- No outside sources of evidence. Who was PMing who last night is not valid evidence. Again, doing this will result in being removed from the game.
- No posting after death. Take it to the "Speak Your Mind" thread if you absolutely need to say goodbye.
- Keep nocturnal posting and spam to a minimum.

:: RULES ::

- Each player is either a member of the town, or the Negaverse. Amongst the town there is a group of magical girls known as the Sailor Team. Do your best to vote off members of the Negaverse, but be careful. If the Sailor Team is eliminated, the game is over and Town loses.

- Each day, the town will vote to lynch one player. If a majority is not met, I will resolve things as I see fit. This may mean a failed lynching or a double lynching. This is up to my discretion, so please no whining.

- Each night players with specific roles will be allowed to send in night actions. If you are one of these characters, please refer to your PMs for your specific night action rules. Night ends when either the allotted time has passed, or all actions have been turned in. If you wish to not make an action this turn, you are encouraged to send me a PM with your intention.

- To clear things up, player gender has absolutely nothing to do with the role he/she is playing. I asked for your gender at the beginning of the game for my use when writing Townie death scenes. Player roles were chosen randomly using a 20-sided die.

- Please clear your Inbox. I have already gotten one message that a player's Inbox if full. If you can not recieve my PMs, you are missing out on important information for the game.

Dusk darkens the city. There is a perceptible tension to the air. The normally endless crowds of people thin, those remaining left vulnerable to the night. They glance about nervously, quickly, like frightened rabbits scurrying as quickly as possible to the safety of their burrows.

This city has turned rotten. Unexplainable attacks happen in the night -- people ripped to shreds as if by some kind of beast or found dead with no apparent cause. Fear thickens the dark at night, giving every shadow grotesque otherworldly form.

The city's only solace comes in the form of a young heroine, Sailor V. But as things get worse, people begin to wonder if one soldier in a sailor suit will really be enough to save them.

Please send in your night actions now. As there have been a few snags (EMPTY YOUR INBOXES!) this night will last for one hour.

The town awakens to a new day after what seems to have been a very long night. Everyone peers suspiciously out their doorways, trying to make sure that all is still right with the world. In most cases, it is.

However, the owner of the convenience store had quite a surprise in store for him when he took out the morning garbage. Lying in the alley, propped up against a dumpster, was RIKKA. Her clothes had been torn, and through the holes he could see deep red gouges in her skin. He screamed and ran back into his store.


RIKKA has been injured and may not vote today.

She sneers and turns away, her cape swirling about her and creating a wind that throws everyone around her to the ground. All but Kei, who manages to grab a hold of her long white hair. The wind dies, and with it Leiko, who has been strangled by her own hair. The crowd gasps (minus Kei, who is cackling wildly) as her body slowly turns to stone.

LEIKO, KUNZITE of the NEGAVERSE, has been lynched.

The sun rises again on the city of Tokyo. At first glance it appears that no mischief has been made in the night, until Jaela staggers out of the alley. She barely manages to whisper "So... tired...." before collapsing.

Almost unnoticed is the body of THEFUCHSNOIR lying in the alley behind a certain convenience store. His clothing and skin are scorched, and by the time the store owner finds him he is barely breathing. Emergency medical staff say that he will pull through, but will need to be hospitalized immediately.

Siriusfan17 frowns into her drink. "You know guys, Always Rina seems a little suspicious to me. Maybe she's working with the Negaverse?"

Various people nod between bites of pastry. It seems the only logical choice. Before Rina can even defend herself, a lynch mob is formed.

"Yeah! She didn't want to vote for Leiko!"

"That's totally suspicious!"

"Waiter, another sundae please, and don't skimp on the hot fudge!"

Always Rina does her best to protest, but her words fall on deaf ears. Too bad. With a smirk even Vegeta would be proud of, she turns to the crowd and says "You're going to feel really stupid about this."

She's come prepared. Sipping her tea laced with arsenic, she resigns her self to death.

ALWAYS RINA, TOWNIE, has been lynched!

The town begrudgingly shakes itself awake. After the lynching of Always Rina, no one seems very willing to find what the day may bring.

kai3733 staggers down the street from her house. She periodically clutches at her stomach and winces in pain. When people ask her what's wrong, she refuses to answer.

Scientists have reported a sudden increase in darks spots on the surface of the sun. So far the cause of this is unknown.

In other news, the owner of a convenience store in the Juuban district where several violent events have occured has closed his business. According to him, last night was the last straw. Galaxy TV has the exclusive interview.

"I was closing up my store when I almost stepped on the body of a cat. Just a poor little kitty! And I said to myself 'That's it, this town is too far gone.' Killing people is one thing, but why can't they just leave the cats alone!"

GALAXY TV NEWS - DAY SIX

Tragedy at Hikawa Shrine. Last night, what appears to have been a large beam of energy hit the Hikawa Shrine, destroying several buildings on the grounds. Police have reported one casuality: Jaela, one of the shrine maidens and granddaughter of the caretaker. According to the police, Jaela's body was found at the center of a crater, where they believe the beam touched down. So far police have no explaination of what could have caused such a large burst of energy.

JAELA, unawakened SAILOR MARS and TOWNIE, has been killed.

Meanwhile, Rikka was found in under a sakura tree in the center of Juuban Park. By the scorch marks found on her body, police can only assume that she had been hit by a bolt of electricity similar to the attacks earlier this week. Rikka refused to answer any questions about her attacker, saying only "I just want to die beautifully." According to witnesses, she died shortly afterwards, then disappeared into a cloud of sakura petals. Police have not yet confirmed these reports.

RIKKA, ZOICITE and member of the NEGAVERSE, has been killed.

Medical staff have reported that ig. was brought to their facility with similar scorch marks, but is expected to recover.

Galaxy News correspondents attempted to interview TheFuchsNoir today about the recent attacks on him, but were told that TheFuchsNoir has been hospitalized again with 3rd degree burns. He was found outside his home earlier this morning. According to one witness, "It looks like that poor boy was hit by lightning again. Damn shame." The glow becomes brighter as his laugh becomes louder, until the citizens are forced to look away and cover their ears. After what seems like hours, it is over. TheFuchsNoir is nowhere to be found, leaving behind only a small crater in the floor and what appears to be a tiara made of a dark gemstone.

GALAXY TV NEWS - DAY EIGHT

Tokyo in trouble! Beloved hero of the people, Sailor V, has been found dead near the Osa-P jewerly store. Sailor V, who's true identity is SiriusFan17, arrived on the scene earlier this year. The masked crime-fighter immediatly gained a large fandom and has been considered by many to be the biggest idol Tokyo has ever seen.

When not fighting crime, SiriusFan17 attended a local middle school. Police are unsure as to the cause of death. Sailor V, and SiriusFan17, will be missed by many. A moonlight vigil will be held next Tuesday for friends and fans who would like to remember our fallen hero.
