Mafia 11: Pirates - YARGH!

It was always such a quiet little Caribbean town.

Until... one night, under the veil of darkness a pirate ship sailed into port and it's crew disguised themselves as members of the town. They plot to take over and turn the town into their own little pirate haven, but before they can do that they must evict the current residents. And by evict, I mean KILL!

Many of the townspeople have fled, afraid of dying by the pirates hands, but a small group has remained to stand their ground. They will not give up their town without a fight!

Now they must smoke out who the enemy and get rid of them before the pirates kill them all.

But since people don't always like to click the link to read them... here is a summary of them as well as some additional things that I saw as a problem in other mafias and added to make the game run smoothly:
-No talking about the game outside the topic UNLESS told to in your role description.
-Votes and unvotes must be in bold as Vote: Player or they don't count.
-Don't edit posts. Period. Edit a post and you will be mod-killed. Though this is not a problem anymore since the edit buttons have been taken away all together… I’m still leaving it in.
-Once the hammer drops... try to limit your postings until the night is over.
-You are allowed to give out information about your character and ability, but use your own discretion on the matter.
-Please don't try and give out clues to your role by acting IN character, it's annoying and I don't want everyone running around saying "ARGH!" ever post.

What do I do if I die?
Once you are dead, you are not allow to share ANY information with someone still active in the game OR influence the game in any way. I will not prevent people from posting in topic once they are dead, but if it becomes an issue, I will ask Matt to start blocking dead players from posting.

How do I win?
-Pirates win when they make up 50% of the town.
-Town wins when all the pirates have been killed.

What time is the game going to start and stop?
Now, since I only have a guaranteed internet access during the night time hours, Chinomi don't like waking up early, and I really don't want people playing while neither of us is not around, the game will only run between the hours of 4 PM EST and and 4 AM EST, give or take an hour. The game will never start before 4 PM, but it might need to start a little later then that (such as 5 or 6 PM) and it may run a little past 4 AM depending on how tired or awake I am. IF YOU CANNOT BE ONLINE DURING THE MAJORITY OF THIS TIMEFRAME DO NOT APPLY TO PLAY!

I want to play! How do I sign up to play!?
There are 15 spots open. First come first serve. No crying to let more people play once the slots fill up. I have made 15 roles and abilities and I don't think I have any creative juices left in my head to make any more.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO THOSE PLAYING MAFIA 9! READ ME NOW!:
I would really like to give people that are not currently playing a mafia the chance at playing this mafia. Therefore I ask very nicely that those people currently playing "Mafia 9: Dark Mafia" NOT sign up for this game… yet. I'm sorry, but there are 23 of you signed up in that, if 15 of you take all the spots in this one, that 15 people playing TWO mafias and many more playing NO mafias. If you die or are lynched before this game fills, you can sign up then. I will open sign ups to you when the game is about half full, so keep an eye on it.

Once the game is filled, I will randomly assign roles among the players. Your role will be PM'ed to you once that happens.

Having flip flopped their way to a decision, the town advances on Sirius. She backs away, trying to talk her way out of it, "No! No! I'm telling you! It's not me! I'm-"

"Enough!" yells a voice from the crowd.
"Someone has to be the first to go!" comes another.
"Nothing personal!" is yelled out.
Followed shortly after by, "It's just business!"

"But you can't do this! I'm the-" but they just won't listen. They grab her before she has the chance to defend herself any further, taking her quickly to the gallows in the town square, and hanging her before she even has the chance to tell them how she was on their side.

After they have finished the job, they go to investigate Sirius's house, but they don't need to even go inside to know who she was.

The people stand outside the gates of the grand manor that overlooked the town, "Opps," mutters Matt...

SiriusFan17, Governor and Townie, has been killed.


It is now Night One! You have an hour and a half to send in your night actions.

Note: The results of night actions will all be sent out all at once in this game and not until the night is over, right before the morning post.

A quick heads up! Night Actions cut off at 1:40 AM EST. That's just a little over 10 minutes. If you have not gotten your action in yet, now is the time!

The port-town awake in sync, gulls cawing looking forward the the trashy feasts that await for them in this new day. You hear a scream in the distance, a small hut-shaped home looks like it was almost... pillaged during the night. They take a peek inside...

...They find a body swinging back and forth from a rope tied to the ceiling hook. The body has no form to it, it's far too limp even for a human body. Then you realize... Her bones were torn out of her body. The more faint of heart run out of the hut and into their own homes, their hand cupped strongly around their mouth. They slam the doors. Then they notice a pattern on the ground. The murderers took this woman's bones and places them on the floor. The bones still had flesh on them, flies and other insects swarmed around them. Chewing on the bloody mess. One member of the town notices the boney pattern spells out a sentence...

"NOW THESE ARE WHAT I CALL MYSTIC BONES!"

The final thing they notice is a cloth wrapped around the victims eyes. It drips red liquid every couple seconds... the victims own blood... a blood-drenched blindfold for the dead.

RIKKA, VOODOO WOMAN AND TOWNIE, IS DEAD

Jaela, the last person to join with the group comes running towards the group, she is flabbergasted. She manages to to tell the town that she was attacked overnight and an extremely precious family heirloom has been stolen over-night. She collapses onto the ground in a twister of tears. She had no idea who the person who attacked her was, she was hit over the head before she could catch a glimpse of the predator. Jaela is too mentally scarred to vote today, she will need to have time to get over this tragety.

It is now Day Two!

With 13 alive but only 12 that may vote it takes 7 to lynch.
And since you guys seem to be moving this game fast...if a majority is not reached before 4:10 AM EST aka about 2 hours, then the person with the most votes will lynched.

I'd say risk it this round. We're already close enough. If Ankari turns out to be a townie, that's three townies gone. Well...I guess that might not be a good idea because the pirates would still kill townies during the night, then we'd be very very close to losing. I don't know how many pirates there are right now, so I don't know how many townies we can afford to sacrifice (Lol, sacrificing innocent townies... The town awakes quite early this time around. Most of you look like you could collapse at any moment, carrying huge black bags under your eyes. But you can’t sleep, you must see what events took place during the night.

Everything looks fine in the regular houses, but the clinic’s windows are smashed in. You struggle to open the secure door, but eventually bust it open. Inside you find a body lying on the check-up table. Arms dangle from the stone-hard surface of it. You look at the body. There, again, another dripping-red blindfold lay on the victims eyes. But it is protruding somewhat… A braver member of the group unties the bloody blindfold to see what the protrusion is. The eyes of the victim are still wide open, screaming silently at you. Pierced into each eyeball is a medical needle full of some kind of remedial liquid. Blood is pooring down the eyes, almost like tears…

MARGO, MEDIC AND TOWNIE, IS DEAD.

Summoner-Lenne appears from within the group. Her arm sliced in many different ways. Was she attacked by the same unknown figure as last night? They stole many of her precious items but she was more concerned about her arms. They wouldn’t move. She collapses on the ground and placed on one of the beds. She will not be able to vote today.
In the corner of the clinic, you find Djeu, wounded very badly. What he was doing there is unknown. Scalpels are pierced in his thighs, he is unable to walk, he will not be able to vote today.

Why I was there? I'm the town Blacksmith. Every night I have the option to protect someone, last night was Margo, the first night was Cruea. With whom something weird happened, and I wasn't able to protect him... for some reason. Was knocked out, apparently. And stripped of my clothing.

Each night I choose to protect someone. *IF* they get attacked, it's a 50/50 chance of them being protected, or I fail, they get killed, I get no info on who did it AND I miss out on the next vote due to injury. As my description says, I MAKE the weapons, hell if I can USE them.

Anyways, I had my suspicions about Cruea from the start, along with what happened the first night. I mean, come on, it's MATT being PASSIVE about the whole game?

However, do you see where your logic is flawed? Let me reason this out two ways for you:

- Matt has an ability that allows him to target a player, knock them out, and strip them. This does no harm to them. So what? Maybe it was a failed attempt to, I dunno, rape and kill dJeu. (Horrid, but it's that kind of games, kids.) A failure does no obvious harm to his character. Therefore, why would he not attempt another rape last night? Anyone else naked?

- dJeu protected successfully protected Matt from harm the first night, preventing a similar "rape" or whatever skill from affecting Matt. The protection was absolute, therefore causing no injury to dJeu. Knocked-out and naked, but not injured. As far as game mechanics go, the actions to dJeu are merely flavor text. My biggest thing is that he's that level of being not active, while still saying enough. He's always come in at the end, raising those doubts when there's already a foregone conclusion. Enough to say "I told you so", to kill off suspicion of being a Pirate.

I just think Summoner Lenne just had flat out failed logic. It was still a crapshoot last night, and personally I was still just playing "Anybody but Me".

According to Lenne, if Ankari was a Townie, so is fruitfly. Ankari was indeed a Townie. I have very good reason to believe she was correct. Very good reason.

However, remember when everyone was voting for Ankari based on this information -- I withdrew my vote because I knew that Lenne's reasoning must be wrong and Ankari must be innocent. I wish I could have convinced the rest of you of this, but Summoner-Lenne's ability carried more weight with the crowd.
