OMGosh...19 views to this and no replies? :( Don't pay attention to them. They're just being insensitive.

Dylan, this was very good. Did you write the script for this? Excellent!

I noticed a few things here and there...static, pops from you into the microphone, and other small events that aren't worth mentioning. However, the aesthetic side of me wants to TOTALLY forgive all that for how...'landmark' this piece sounded.

The mix (from a clinical perspective) itself felt balanced, and well-timed. :)

Props and kudos, man. 8)

Hey there, Ridgewolf, thanks for listening!

I felt kind of gloomy the night before my 26th birthday, and wanted to write something. So I did, in 15 minutes or so, then quickly recorded it since time was running out! I added a track from the game, ICO, to it, and uploaded the mp3. Made the post at 11.58 pm local time! ;)

You were very kind in your judgement, cheers for that!

Happy 26th birthday dude!

Or your 338th moon cycle birthday. Don't be so down about it, everything is relative.

Clym...338 is a HIGHER number than 26.

Maybe you should do the math for dog or cat years? :D

I'm glad you had your 26th birthday, Dylan. :D I'll look forward to you having many more in the future. :)

PS. We just need to work on that gloomy bit a little. 8)

I think there is a lot of truth to what you say, I can certainly identify with losing touch with friends and the merits of trusting intuition over reason. You sound pretty wise for 26, it takes many people a whole lifetime to make the revelations you mention.

Well anyway, I thought this was open, honest and from the heart, which worries me slightly as you seem so sad..... 26 is hardly old is it, it is just a quantity.

As intuitive and inspiring as ever, old man.

And your voice is lovely as always. <3

Just got my soundcard fixed today and the first thing I do is download one of Dylan's voice recordings...wow...I was blown away by what I heard, I was almost
ready to cry it just sounded so sad, and your voice is very nice and believable.

As of now I'm a fan of yours, can't wait to hear more.

I was trying to make him feel better by showing him something odd, and that time is a man made construct. We have no idea how long we have on this rock, so 18 or 80 gotta love every minute of it. That said D has a good point, it's important to remember the past it's the unchanging bedrock that makes you who you are, just make it a spring board to the future not a millstone. :)

In all affableness and jest...

Agreed. 8)

Clym - Cheers! And trust me, I'd rather be full of joy than down!

Ridgewolf - Thanks, my birthday was fun. And I'm normally not that gloomy!

Jenna - The text isn't brilliant, I wouldn't call these notions revelations. But I don't want to hide behind disclaimers, so I shall present the mp3 "as is". I'm much wiser than you think though! ;)
If you felt it sounded honest, then I succeeded. Thank you.

Danae - I appreciate your kind words, young girl.

misu - Your reply moved me. Thank you very much indeed.

Kitsune - Thanks for listening, glad you enjoyed it.

Clym - I appreciate your efforts to cheer me up. I will try to convince you of the fact that I'm usually very happy! But please don't start with me on the concept of time... I didn't get my Master's degree in archaeology for nothing! (Trying to show everything's relative also, by saying something both silly and truthful).

Ridgewolf - You'd almost guess there's a League of gentlemen on this board, hmm? * Shakes hands *

Thanks for checking this out, friends, I appreciate it.

I wonder what'll happen when you turn 30.

Great clip, Dylan ^^ If I hadn't gone to Switzerland, I would've dropped by :D!

And to everyone else; Dylan's a very positive person! I can vouch for that. We just all have our moments :P
