Hello again!

Okay, this is my second recording on this forum... Mainly I want to know if there is any improvement over the last song (the Pocahontas one). ^.^

This is a completely different kind of song - it's an original song, with original lyrics, in a sort of trancey-dancey style.

I hope the mixing is vaguely okay... sounds okay to me but I'm sorry if there is any horrible ugly distortion... hopefully NOT. :)

OK enough babble ^^; THE SONG.

(And psssst, there are lyrics here if you can't understand what I'm singing XD ---> http://destiny-hikari.net/songlyrics.htm#THEMESSAGE)

*sniff* I am unloved! ;D
Please? ^_^; I'd really just like a couple of opinions on the singing itself. :) I'm trying to improve, but my friends and family are all too nice to really critique it!

It's not a very big file, go on, you know you want to! XD (pssst, pretty please with sugar on top??? ^.^)

You have a nice voice. n_n;; You need to work a bit more on your lower range, but other than that, you have a wonderful voice.

Very nice lyrics, and very well mixed! I don't usually like that type of music, but I loved it. You have a very melodic voice, but at some parts you sound a little timid. Try to sing out a little more. And, I love the suttle harmonies!!! Well done!! ^_^

Yay, I am no longer unloved! *dances and hugs* Thank you for the advice and comments ^_^

Okay, so. Lower range. Yes indeed. *Makes mental note to practise* ;)

Can I just ask a question? - About vocal registers and stuff... if anybody knows! Is there some way of singing in my lowest register without my voice sounding sort of...harsh? See, I can sing the lower notes, middle C and down, quite a lot stronger in my low register but it sounds sort of weird...! XD Just wondering if there's some trick to it, something I can practise a bit.

Or, should my middle-ish register strengthen with practice and breathing exercises etc. so I can sing these notes with more power, without needing to use my "weird" lower voice? Just wondering. :) Any help on this at all will be muchly appreciated!

Practice is the key. Just remember to support notes with your diaphragm, and make sure your not singing from your throat, so to speak. ^_^

Wow, this is really impressive! XD Exactly the type of music I listen to too! It's so soothing, but upbeat at the same time :D Keep it up!! I'd love to hear more of your singing! Ganbare! p(^_^)q

Oh, forgot to ask ^^" Did you compose the entire song by yourself? Or was it an original song that you modified in Fruity Loop (or something like that)? Just curious XD
