A few FF8 clips

Since I'm STILL missing lines for a few o' the scenes that I was going to do for FF8, I'm just putting up one half o' what's done. Weeeee. Basically I was going to go scouting for roles, but after wasting so much time waiting for lines.....yeah. Random cast (cept for Dingly n' danyata basically) again..I'll put moi own comments on how I saw the charas later on. Of course, since these are scenes from the actual game...if you haven't played....yay spoilers! XD

A short clip o' Quistis explaining whatever happens to Seifer after his attack on the president.

Basically this revolves mostly around Zell n' Raijin/Fujin talking about Seifer. Weee. I forget exactly when this takes place >.>;;;;

If I remember correctly this is right after they escape the desert prison. Mostly revolves around Selphie. :D

Spoilers? Really? I've never played the game. Hm...

Pretty good, Mizura. Your mixing for this collection of scenes is fair. It's been interesting being in this project, even for how fast you wanted me to turn out all those lines. BTW, has anyone heard how I sound like a TOTAL air-head before 1:55 in the 'Promise' clip?

Oh well, we all have interesting things to work with. :D Also, I like the 'Missile Base Briefing.' Some of it seemed stilted, but I'm thinking that's because the player is supposed to be walking around and talking to various people (did that happen in this game?).

Yep XD that would be what all that stupid walking noises was for. At least that's what i remember happening in the game....it's been a while. *SIGH*

::hears herself as Selphie and grimaces:: Erg. Somehow I feel like my voice doesn't fit in here. >_< Now that I hear this, I keep thinking of things I could improve, lol... like not talk so slow. And my acting has gotten much better since I recorded those lines... ah well. ~_~

I really liked everyone else, though! I only listened to the Missile Base scene, but I'll comment on what I heard so far:

Squall (Ridgewolf) - I liked your voice! I think it fit Squall's personality very well. Just the right amount of gloominess over being the leader, hehe.

Quistis (Danyata) - Nice! I liked the accent, it really made Quistis sound mature.

Rinoa (Mizura) - Wow! You have such a great voice and your acting is wonderful! ^_^ I kinda imagined Rinoa to have a slightly lower voice though... but then again, maybe that's just because my Selphie voice turned out too low. >_<

Irvine (Matt Alan) - Did Irvine have much lines in this clip? I remember "Hey, hey, ladies" which was perfect... I think I'll have to listen to the other clips, but so far what I heard fit the character well.

Zell (Manami) - I think your voice worked pretty well for the character... the only thing was that soemtimes it sounded like you were speaking from a distance. But acting wise it was good.

I'll comment more when I get to my friend's house and use her cable internet to download the other clips. Great job mixing, Mizura, the volume levels and timing were good, I could hear everyone pefectly. ^_^

::Sigh:: Well, at least I know I have slightly improved since this. ~_^

Yay! I listened to all of the clips so far. XD

As for myself....DAMN. @_@ I sound so damn angry at some points... ...which I really didn't intend to do XD It just ...happened that way o.0 At least this tells me what not to sound like...ehehe....ehehe... x.x

To the rest of the cast, yay! I enjoyed listenin' to these :D It's definitely interesting to hear everyone's interpretation of the characters (and having different people play them just about everytime o.0;; ).

Mixing-wise, good job, Mizura! You know you can mix! XD

I wanna hear the rest....~!
