Once in a while, I feel adventurous, and sing songs that aren't musical theatre *gasp*.

Today, I decided to butcher Aimee Mann's gorgeous "Save Me".
There's a few missed notes here & there, and background noise...

I adore you. You are so very talented, especially at this kind of stuff. I dunno what about your voice makes it so... possibly the emotion, or the rich melodic quality of it, or WHAT. But your voice is sooooo perfect for this kind of stuff.

As I told you on MSN, the thing to work on here is phrasing. Because that would solidify and tie it all together. <3

Mmmmm... nice. Your voice is always delightful to hear, especially on those high notes. But because I've been too nice lately, you're gonna be one of the first singers in a while to get one of my infamous reviews ^_~.

Firstly, I agree with Nanuri on the phrasing bit, 'cause sometimes I had trouble understanding you : /. In particular it took me a bit of time to figure out that you were saying "from the rest of the freaks"

You don't seem to have the right kind of energy behind the held notes, your voice isn't shakey, persay, but it does seem to be lacking something. This might be because you are holding back in order to work with the mellowness of the song.

Right after the final instrumental is the only place I start to hear noticeable mistakes. When you get to the first "save me" it sounds like you start off on the wrong note and have to take an unatural leap to get back on track. Your voice breaks on the high one after that as well, but luckily you recover from that before the end of the song.
