Hello, all. I've been working on this production for a few months, but I just started casting for VA roles. I'm not planning on making a fanfilm YET - mainly due to technology constraints on my part - but since it's an original "Tales of" production, I'd like to make skits for each chapter.
Anyway, at the moment, I'm only casting for FIVE characters - two females and three males. I might add more characters as time goes along.
I'm not setting up a deadline just yet - I want to get as many auditions as I can. :D Anyway, here's some info on the story and the characters I'll be casting:
Tales of the Bane
Find the Bane...and recreate the future.
The Bane. Supposedly the key to solving the world's problems. The fountain of youth, the source of all power. Anyone who obtains it also gains whatever they desire.
At the fatal price of that which they cherish most.
The year is 3752, Aeli Calendar. The world is war-torn, and the land itself is beginning to perish as the six races are embroiled in a bloody war that is said to last for eons to come.
To many, it has become known as the Aeon of the Shadow. It is said that the ongoing war will never end, and the different races and classes will continue to clash until the end of time.
But, the Foreseers have begun to tell tales of five young men and women who will put an end to the war and will bring prosperity to their land. It is said that someone who is a traitor to their people will lead these chosen few.
Hardly any people believe their stories and see no end to the fighting. But as the battles continue on the plains of war, a young Priestess-Warrior leaves her homeland and travels to the Blessed Lion's Kingdom to the east...

Azure Darkrain
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human (?)
Occupation: Thief
Weapon: Bow and arrows / Limited healing
Class: Archer
Banist Skill: Darkness Defeat
Azure is a petty thief hailing from Masdale, a town known for its reputation amongst assassins. His background is shrouded in mystery, although it is known that he despises his father and was raised by his single mother. He is somewhat sarcastic, a fault that tends to get him in trouble with both the law and those around him. Young, handsome, and always moving with flair, Azure is found amicable by those around him and is difficult to hate.
"I feel guilty for what I've done, but I don't regret it. I'll accompany you until I've seen this through."
VA preferences: Not too deep or rough.
Voroth Malignfang
Race: Dragonling
Voroth is a general of the army of Darfeld. He an aggressive and heartless warrior, always killing without mercy. One of his main goals is to usurp the power of the Bane and become a powerful ruler. He is against the humans and elves, though sides with dark elves and the Opposition because he believes that they hold the upper hand in the war.
“The Bane, huh? I’d like to get my hands on that sort of power.”
Rough and deep, but not too rough. Male.
Septimus Blackfeather
Race: Half-elf
Occupation: Warrior
Septimus – Christos’s younger brother by one year – is an elite warrior of Covgard forces. After the people of Orthedon learned of his dark elven blood, he was exiled and went to live with his original father, the leader of the dark elf race. Septimus and his brother are bitter enemies, and they are constantly coming in contact throughout their campaigns.
“He’s lost his soul. He’s useless, so why bother continuing?”
He’s 18, so somewhat young.
Feseli Battletear
Race: Fel
The young general of the Fel army, Feseli is level-headed and carefully analyzes each situation. After Cali’s parents passed away, he helped get her back on her feet. Because of this she admires him, though he is oblivious to her feelings. Like most Fel, he harbors hatred for the dark elves, who have repeatedly violated the sacred forests of Trefell.
“It’s nice, isn’t it? We take pride in the natural beauty of Ivengard.”
No specifications, but nothing too deep. Male.
The Bane – “Didn’t you trust her, and she stabbed you in the back? Why not return the favor?”
Once again, no specifications. Male.
Minor Voices (up to Part IX):
Male Guard 1: “Have you seen a silver-haired man pass by here? He’s hard to miss.”
Masdale Leader, Male: “You’ll be killed for your impudence. Why are you interfering with something that shouldn’t even matter to you?”
Ellisia: “Yes...but I just wish he wouldn’t put so many people in danger with his foolish ideas.”
Carsia Shadowstalk: “Despite all of this, I still can’t help but admire your actions. Despite your moral standing, you still defied the guards and attacked them. Tell me, why did you use the Bloodbane to defend two people whom you had never met before in your life?”
