Yes, I'm back again doing a few small projects until my new hard drive arrives, this one is with the help of Rikdo Osaka (whom I would like to thank for agreeing to help with the next FanDub as well).

Project Description
For those unfamiliar with the song, it is the ending song to the first Detective Conan movie. For the song, I have taken the lyrics already translated and finished transliterating the song. For inspiration and assistance to VAA members, I have provided all three versions available (English, Japanese, Instrumental).

Male and female shall be considered regardless of the original singer. Auditioners may even consider to reorchestrate the song as a piano ballad if they desire.

I will post the Top 3 and the number 1 will become the theme to my next FanDub.* What's that FanDub? You'll have to wait and see, but in the mean time a small hint at the bottom.

* - Please see the Recording and Contact information for the exception

Song: Happy Birthday (~2 1/2 Minutes Singing Time)
I wish that I could find the right words to say,
Sorry but it doesn't come so easy to me.
My mind filled with worry I cannot go to sleep,
So I close my eyes where I just couldn't see.

I walk on the weekends along steady streets,
but heavy air makes it hard to breath.
I sighed to myself and wondered what I should do,
The sound of the city makes it hard to think.

Even if I could find the right words to say now,
No one would ever know what I am anyway.

I lift my voice up to the sky, but you can't here me.
The city always drums me out and ohhh how I try
And then I think of a person who's far away.
And then I wish him "happy birthday."

To pass away the time I went out for a drink,
But the depression flooded my mind.
Some guy at the bar told a bad joke,
So I closed my eyes and wished he'd go away.

No time or place were set when we first met,
We just exchanged a tender gaze for seconds.
But now I am lost and don't know what to say,
I wish I could see those kind eyes again.

Even if I could solve - all the mysteries the world,
Would I find meaning in the tears I shed.

I lift my voice up to the sky, but you can't here me.
The city always drums me out and ohhh how I try
And then I think of a person who's far away.
And then I wish him "happy birthday."

I lift my voice up to the sky, but you can't here me.
The city always drums me out and ohhh how I try

I lift my voice up to the sky, but you can't here me.
The city always drums me out and ohhh how I try
And then I think of a person who's far away.
And then I wish him "happy birthday."

You can send it pre-mixed or acapella as we will mix it for you if if you don't. I'd personally prefer it pre-mixed so that I don't have to try to sync it, but this is a fairly simple song for me to sync so it's not too much of a problem

EDIT: I thought about it. The prefered is to send both. This would allow us to clean up the original sound file and sync it according to your preference.
