Project information - Greetings! I am a student at my local university, currently enrolled in an animation course. I am putting together a 5-10 minute long cartoon that will be seen by a large audience. The general synopsis to the cartoon is: 3 loser friends go on a road trip to a music festival, with the goal of achieving the ultimate high. Throughout their misadventures they wreck vehicles, destroy stores, and fight hippies.
Audition deadline - Please send me your voice in .mp3 or .wav (or .aud) format by APRIL 15.

MALE
Name: Joel
Age: 26
Bio: This character is a loser in every sense of the word, no home, no ambitions, no problem. On the other hand, he thinks he is a know-it-all, even though he doesn't even have a GED. Here are some descriptive words: Sociopath, Chain smoker, drug addict, obese, self-proclaimed expert, delusions of granduer, paranoid.
Voice type: The best way I can describe his voice would be a fusion of Boomhauer (King of the Hill) + Louie Anderson (Life with Louie) w/ a hint of hippie. Think a nasal Boomhauer voice (mang) with some hippie lingo thrown in (mang). His voice has a tinge of hick (don't over do it) and a tinge of hippie. His voice is mostly nasal. He says man and dude a lot.
Audition line 1: "...so I had just puked down the whole side of his car and he didn't even realize it. He's driving down the middle of town honking his horn and waving at girls on the street. And there's puke everywhere. I couldn't stop laughing man, it was hilarious."
Audition line 2: "You just think you're so smart because of your dumb book learning."
Audition line 3 : "What's goin' on, dude?"

I also wouldn't mind hearing from people interested in doing a voice for one of the other main characters, if you can do it better than I. I definitely need someone for the part of Joel though, it's too hard of a voice for me.
MALE
Name: Craig
Age: 24
Bio: This character is a loser by choice. Upper-Middle class guy. Usually, nice a polite, but with comedic bursts of anger and rage. A loveable nut. Think Adam Sandler in his hayday (Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison). Paranoid at times, Neurotic, Confrontational.
Voice type: This voice I will be less picky about. I'm looking for an average male voice, around age 24. Must be able to do comedic yelling. Once again, study Adam Sandler from Happy Gilmore. Don't yell every line though. :D
Audition line 1: "I'm just messing with you Joel, you can stay here tonight. Ya freeloader!"
Audition line 2: "Alright! Calm down you two. Can't you guys just get along for one day? Grieb! How goes it?"
Audition line 3 : "Look out! Coming through.....GET OUTTA MY WAY!!"

I might as well post the third character too, incase anyone is interested in the part. Once again, I'm mostly interested in getting Joel's voice, the other two can be done by me and a friend. Nevertheless, I'm interested in hearing someone elses take on the character so feel free to audition. Thanks!

Name: Grieb
Age: 24
Bio: This character became a loser after he failed in life. Former Marine, former inmate. This guy is a born follower, headstrong, close-minded, and vain. A loveable douchebag. :) He thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread and acts it. He is portrayed with a lot of confidance. Think jock. This character likes to argue with Joel and has been friends with Craig since childhood. Arrogant, but friendly. He also hits on anything that moves. He doesn't like hippies though.
Voice type: Not too picky here. Jocky, tough but friendly. Is douchebaggy an adjective?
Audition line 1: "Grrr, I really don't like hanging around these filthy hippies. Look at that one over there... These peace loving treehuggers wouldn't survive one day in the Marines. I just want to punch his face!"
Audition line 2: "Let me ask you something. If a girl gets pregnant with twins and she doesn't want to have them. Does she have to pay for 2 seperate abortions? Or is it like a 2 for 1 deal?"
Audition line 3 : "Hey cutie. Do you have a bathroom I can use?"
