This is a radio play set in a distant land in the samurai era, No it isn't in Asia it's on a different world. The story is about a young boy named Zuka and his rise to power with help from his mentor Tharon,
Zuka will defeat the Todukechi clan while reviving the Homizaku clan.
Part 1 is short but as I go on the scripts will get longer! Also if you want feedback just ask!
I need 6 voices
Main characters:
Narrator
Can be male or female, Just need someone who sounds wise but not old.
Audition Line:
The Homizaku clan’s leader had passed away, leaving no son to take over; the Todukechi clan took this opportunity to seize control.
They're pronounced Ho-meh-za-ku and To-du-kech-e
Tharon
One of the main characters...
Need a calm but warrior sounding voice... Just send me what you think sounds good.
Audition Line:
(Calm) The breeze is calm… I might be able to finally relax.
Zuka
a 10 year old boy... I'm open to anything really just make sure he sounds 10 and he isn't annoying...
Audition Line:
I used to live at the local orphanage; but the people there were mean!
Toren
Zuka's father, Murdered by the Todukechi clan for reasons unknown to Zuka. I need his voice to sound proud and a little bit low.
Audition line:
Yes… I’m the head of the Harami family… Why do you wish to know?
Secondary characters:
Nahome:
Zuka's mother, also murdered by the Todukechi clan. Need her to sound calm and caring, She will also be screaming but only once.

Toren what’s the matter?
Todukechi Clan member 1:
Just a member of the Todukechi Clan, Want him to sound evil... almost snake like but with out the hiss and lisp.
Audition line:
Who’s this then? Looks like another member of the family!
