★ Que esta, Sekai no Melody?
Sekai no Melody is one of the original multilingual singing organizations dating back to 2004, featuring people of all languages, ranges, abilities, skills, and interest. We not only sing Japanese songs, but English adaptations, and other foreign songs! Simply speaking, Sekai no Melody is an interesting take on the regular same-old, same-old internet Jpop groups - we cover many genres and styles and languages, so there is always something for everyone!
Sekai no Melody works in a system similiar to Japan's famous umbrella group, Hello! Project. SoM is composed of many members who are split into two sides - anime or jpop/jrock. From there, they are further divided into singing groups. For example, the duo that consists of Miri (leader) and Arashi (sub-leader) is called Mi-Ara.
The aim is to release at least three singles or albums per month, although there is a possibility it could even reach at the most ten per month depending on member activity and eagerness to participate. Not to worry, however, Sekai no Melody is not too time-consuming since we are not looking for polished perfection. The object of the game is to enjoy yourself and have fun singing!
For each release, Miri will select the group she wants to sing the song and send each of them color-coded lyrics along with a recording of the song so that the group members may practice before making their final recording. All recordings are due before the deadline so that Miri has time to mix the songs together and make a pretty album cover before releasing it to the public!

★ Wanna become part of Sekai no Melody? Rules and form.
01. Sekai no Melody is not time consuming - at most 2 hours a month singing if you're a perfectionist. Because of this, you are expected to turn in your recordings on time unless preapproved by the leader of the deal - me.
02. Again, it's not your voice I'm worried about, but your attitude. I would rather work with a very nice girl who doesn't have a good voice than a mean, snobbish girl who has the voice of an angel. Attitude counts!
03. Songs will mostly be chosen by me, but there will be times when members will be able to vote and suggest songs to sing. Please be sensitive to others' opinions!
04. I would like members to be able to sing in Japanese and English at the very least. If you know more languages, that's great as well! =)
05. I'm especially interested in people who like to sing songs from various anime series (especially Mermaid Melody), Jpop, and Hello! Project! We will definitely cover other genres as well!
06. The most important thing! (Are you paying attention?) Everyone is guaranteed a spot at Sekai no Melody! As long as you fill out the audition form and send me a clip of you singing, you're in. However, some of you may be placed in the Trainee Cupids group, while others will create smaller groups. The only reason I need to hear a clip of you singing is because I need to know which group fits you best!
