Hi everyone !

I've been quite busy lately, but I beleive it was the time to show you some of my new songs ^_^'

Instead of giving direct links, here's the repertoire to found to songs :

http://www.chorale-sailor.org/AVA/

First, you'll see the file named "CSP_Amour.rm". Its a french adaptation of a song from Yellow Generation, sung with my favorite french guy named Yota :)

Then, you'll see "CSP_Irulanne_CLVStudioClip.rm" which is a clip from my studio recording of "C'est la vie". It was my first studio experience ever, and must admit that it was harder that I though it would be.

The next title is "CSP_Irulanne_LegendMermaid.rm". Its only the song "a capela" for the french fandub of Mermaid Melody Pitchi Pitchi Pitch #13. At the end, Luchia is singing to send back Kaito to the beach. I sung in a higher voice than usual to follow my voicing of Luchia in the episode. The "cathedral/reverb" effect had to be added for the video clip.

"CSP_Irulanne_RinneStudioClip.rm" is a clip from my second song recorded in studio. I (my voice) was affected by spring allergies back then, but we worked really really hard and the song is so beautiful. I'm very proud of this one.

The last realaudio file (CSP_Regard.rm) is a mix of 6 singing voices from voice actresses in my fandubbing team. The result, to my opinion, is amazing. I'm really proud of them ^^; The song is a french adaptation of "Take a look on the other side" from Saiyuki.

* *

I've recorded 2 weeks ago "Sakura Fubuki" but the studio mix is not finished yet. The next song will be Realize from Nami Tamaki, which is a different kind of challenge.

Ok well, thanks for listening. I hope you enjoyed my clips ^^; I know I am not as present here as I used to be but if I want this Jpop CD to be out for Chrismast, got to go practice !

Wow, I'm really impressed Irulanne. When your CD does come out, I really hope you'll let me know where to buy a copy (especially of that second studio recording one, "Rinne" I believe it was).

Now, don't let me influence you, but I think with your vocal style you should try either "Kiseki no Umi" or "Yakusoku wa Iranai" by Sakamoto Maaya. Because your voice is very melodic and soothing, and similar to her style, anything that you want to try by her is sure to turn out good.

Admittedly there are a few flaws - sometimes your voice doesn't blend with the background vocals as well as they could, but the quality is great on those studio clips and I'm really excited for you to have these opportunities.

You've improved even in the year I've been here listening to your stuff, and I love it all.

France rules >D *waves a French flag*

Great job, Iru ^_^

Thanks Nanuri :)

I used to sing Kiseki no Umi, and I still have the karaoke on my computer, though this song is sooo old. When I was listing the potential songs I could record, I had many old jpop and anime songs like that (even, Cruel Angel Thesis), but I realized that people heard those songs over and over during the years (hey, those are classics !) and I did want to come out with original things. Many other titles I choose to record in the following months are jpop songs that people are not *yet* used to listen. Ok, its not the case for both PGSM songs, but I had to start with easy songs to get used to the studio.

About the few flaws, those comes with the amateur songs I record on my computer. That's life. Its very hard to produce top notch songs in your bedroom... And I've never heard anything perfect on this board either :)

Yes I improved since the last 6 years. I hope to improve enough for people to say "hey, I should give this girl a chance to sing a song professionnaly" Lol :D

France rules ? I know you are half french Nanuri, but havent your forgot ? I am french... canadian !!!

PS: The CD will be available through a special section on my web site (no profit, just the package). I am wainting to have a few more songs and my photoshoot.

THANKS :)

I have the latest (which is 10) but it's my computer that's being evil.

I cannot wait to hear Sakura Fubuki, because as I listened to C'est La Vie, I thought it would be perfect for you. :)

I <3 YOUR VOICE. *tap dances around*

And the French version of "Tobira no Mukou He" was SO awesome! XDDD

Thanks for the nice comments ChibiKat ^^ I though that you would have been a little more critic about my samples. Most of the time, you write extensive reviews about other people songs  not that I am complaining ! Lol !

Hey, I wanted to tell you that you look gorgeous on the picture of your avatar. Do you have a real Sailor Moon costume like this ?, or its a photoshop collage ? It really really looks like the fuku in PGSM O_o
Honnestly, if an english PGSM adaptation would be done, you would look the part 100 % !

Thanks again

I know flaws are to be expected from amateurs, I was just trying to give you pointers so's you can improve even more. Then, hopefully, you WILL get the chance to sing professionally.

And yes, I know. I was generalizing... *hides her French flag and waves a Canadian one*

Well, I could've, but I like you too much to go off on ya every time you went flat or off timing, because there were so few examples of this. But if you would like to hear something a little more helpful, I have time now. =3

In your French version of "Tobira no Mukou He" (I can't type that French out XD), Yota started out a bit rough, and flat-ish, but as the song progressed, he got better and better, and so did the blending between the 2 of you. And guys singing in French = HOT.

C'est La Vie - Your voice lacks a bit of the young-sounding quality of "Aino Minako", but your maturity does not hinder your performance in any way. You make up for that with just the right amount of perk. :) Too bad it's so short, though. :(

Legend of Mermaid - You sound like a siren for sure. =3 I could seriously be drawn to a beach by that. XD Great delivery- VERY powerful and just straight-out perty.

"Take a Look on the Other Side" - There were a few places in the chorus where whomever was singing (was it you or someone else, or a combination of the 6 girls?) sounded like they were really reaching for those notes- but they WERE all basically hit, so that's good. At 4:22, the "wail" (for lack of a better word) was absolutely amazing. LOVED it.

Rinne - Probably my favorite of all the songs. This one just seems made for your voice. Perfect range for you. And I must get my hands on your CD as well! If you want someone to design a cover... *points at self* Heeheehee... I've always wanted to make CD covers. I could make a pretty blend for you, too! Umm... see Danae's sig if you want to know what I mean.

Better? =3 Yeah, I didn't feel like being overly critical. I prefer major sucking up over jealousy-ridden nagging. lol

And about my avatar picture...
Heehee. Naah, I don't have a Sailor Moon costume, and if I did, it would NEVER look that good. I just pasted my face on top of Sawai Miyuu's because I'm weird like that. XDDD If you look at my sig and my icon closely, you can see that the face is identical: I cut my head out of the same picture that's on my sig. lol And if an English adaptation of PGSM was made and I auditioned for Sailor Moon, they'd throw me out on my arse. I'm 5'10. XD

Amour: Eh bien, c’est Tobira no Mukou he en Français!
