Yay the first part heheh, so here we go:

Mixed By Koinu: A lovely mixing job, though there were a few lines of I beileve it was Kero's that could have been a drop louder, but other then that this was mixed nicely and the new music gave it a nice different feel for the seires.

OP Singer Kimiko: Great job with the openign song, though there seemed to be a few parts that didn't quite match up with the music correctly but it was still great.

Sakura - Chichiri: ooo such a Lovely sakura as always Chinomi ^.^

Syaoran - Ben: Um.. In my oppion you sound a bit too old for Syaoran but you still did a great job as him overall.

Tomoyo - Rikka: Oo perfect Tomoyo. Nicely done even though it was higher then the original I think it was actaully better then the original.

Terada - Chatin: Such a great Trenda, too bad he's only a side character and not in this one much, cause you were perfect for him.

Kero - Chiyoko: You were a good kero, but you needed well alot more emotion for parts when he's freakying and going nuts and stuff.

Nakuru - Mindychan: You were a nice Nakuru, though there seemed to be a bit of static in your lines.

Eriol - Chibikat: Ooo you make such a perfect Eriol! Greeat preformance!

Suppi - Mizura: Great Suppi as always, hehe!

And last, I can't wait to see see moooorre.

Hadta say Tomoyo stood out as super accurate imo, and Chichiri miko's Sakura esh good as usual too mrow. :D Basically I think I agree w/ all Flarey said, 'cept since I'm so used to the Japanese Eriol, Chibikat's version threw moi off XD; (Just need to get used to it and it'll be all good.)

Watched it, along with my sister~ My sister likes watching fandubs of various popular anime, so, I called her in my room to come and see this as well~

Opening Theme Singer, Kimiko - I think you have a great singing voice, but I don't think it really fits that song (my sister agreed as well). There were quite a few places that were WAY out of tune, and it was especially noticeable during the first two lines ("I am a dreamer... A hidden power...") and in the chorus of the song. I think you have a great singing voice, but I'm sorry to say it really clashes with "Purachina".

Sakura, Chichiri No Miko - An absolutely adorable voice, but try to put a little more emotion into your lines. Overall, they were pretty well delivered, but nothing was really outstanding. I thought your "Hoe!" was pretty cute, though~

Syaoran, Ben - I agree with everyone else, I do think your voice is a bit too mature for Syaoran. But you performed wonderfully overall. I did think that the first line, where Syaoran is shouting "I'm in love with you!", could have used a lot more emotion, your performance as a whole was most excellent. Keep up the good work~

Terada, Chatin - Thought you were an EXCELLENT Terada. XD Good job. Though my sister did say that you were speaking as if Eriol had died. I think what she means is that you were being a bit too dramatic. But I didn't find any problems with it, myself. Maybe it was the background music that was setting the whole mood. I thought you did just fine.

Kero, Chiyoko - I really didn't think your voice suited Kero very well, but it is the producer that decides on who fits what character. So, aside from that, I say that you were really lacking emotion, particularly during the end of the clip when Sakura-tachi meets up with Eriol-tachi. Try to put more emotion into what you're saying~

Nakuru, Mindychan - There was a little static in the background of your lines, but other than that, I have nothing to complain about~ Job well done~

Eriol, Chibikat - Hey, I thought this voice reall fit him~ I liked it~ My sister really enjoyed your voice as well, and said you were her favorite out of the clip~ She actually thought you were a boy, until I told her it was a girl who was playing Eriol. I thought you showed great emotion. Like my sister, I thonk your voice was my favorite in this~ Good job as Eriol~

Suppi, Mizura - A little on the monotone side, but I loved your Suppi-chan voice~ Great job~

I thought the background music fit very well in this~ I think the opening theme karaoke could have been turn up some, though, either that, or Miss Kimiko's voice was too loud, and needed to be turned down. Quite a number of lines didn't synch very well, but this is your first time dubbing, so I'm sure this number will increase in the next clip. For your first time fandubbing, I say you did pretty good, Miss Koinu~ I look foward to future clips~

Opening Singer - While I totally love your voice, Kimiko, I'm thinking that you weren't really very experienced with this particular song... did you sing it without the song playing in your headphones/speakers? If so, biiiig mistake. If not, then I wish you had gotten to know the song a little better.

Sakura - Your performance was SO adorable! =3 You make the perfect Sakura. ;)
Ben - While everyone else might've said you sounded a little too mature, I didn't really think so. I thought you did a faaabulous job.

Terada - Your voice sounded GREAT, but Rikka has a point. You do kinda sound like Eriol has died, and not transfered. XDDD

Kero - While I must say I thought your audition was totally cute, your performance in this clip just seemed kinda... uninspired. A little more emotion, and a little more of the cuteness you demonstrated in your auds well improve your performance 10-fold. ;)

Nakuru - Some noisy static in your lines, but that's forgiveable. Good performance, even if we didn't hear much of you.

Eriol - XDDD I'm glad that most of you seemed to think I fit... after hearing the Japanese Eriol for the first time I was like "WTF, EVERYONE'S GOING TO HATE ME." lol I have to say I agree with Mizura... it seems a little strange to play a character so... manly. lmao And yay! Rikka's sister mistook me for a boy! Which means I sounded... like a boy... >_> *cough* But that's good!

Suppi - Your Suppi voice sounds VERY close to the original- GREAT job!

Tomoyo - *see beginning of post* =3

Mixing - Great job for a first try, Koinu! I bet your next clip will be even better. As everyone mentioned already, some of the SFX and bgms were a little choppy- that needs some work. And I don't think I heard any footsteps at all. Footsteps are good. XD

That's okay! It's good to hear criticism ^^. I had never heard this song before, and I didn't have a karaoke version to practice with. And unfortunately, I have to use 2 different computers. 1 is for hearing things and the other is for recording because I can't hear anything on it >.<. I used to and now it just doesn't work. I can record on the one I can hear everything on, however, i'm next to server racks, which always give a loud buzzing noise in the background :/. I think it would have helped me a great deal if I would be able to practice with a karaoke version while recording so that I can hear any of the mishaps. I noticed the out of tune parts, and they are fine with the music (when practicting with vocals). I have been trying to see what is wrong with the sound on the other computer, but I can't find any problems at all. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.. but lately it's been not working :( Anyways, thanks for the criticism, I'll work on it even more!

You're absolutely right! I am not experienced with this song. When I auditioned, it was the first time I had heard of it and when I submitted my audtition, I did it with the music/vocals in the background. I really thought it was a pretty song though, so I tried my best! I'd love to do it while wearing headphones, however, same problem that I stated above :( I will either have the major loud buzzing noise on this computer or I am unable to hear the music while recording on the other :/ Big bummer all around for me :( Thanks though! I will keep working on it and if anyone has a karaoke version of the song, I think that will be a huge help for me.

I haven't seen it yet, but I look forward to it and see how it turned out!

OMG, I just watched the opening and ugh, I can totally see. How horrible! That's weird though, because it sounds completely different than what it sounded like before. And I do agree it's a lot louder than the music, which is funny because my recordings tend to be really low lol.

Anyways, ouch! I will definitely be re-doing that. And with the karaoke version, it will be on time with the music as well!

OP Singer:: Your voice is nice but you seemed off with the vocals in timing a small bit. Still a great performance =D/

Ben:: SEXY BEN! now it's my turn to rape you! ^_^ I'm not used to Syaoran being VAed by a guy since I'm used to the original. But I love the take on it!

Rikka:: I think you went a tad bit high but great emotion and acting. Your performance was spectacular

Chatin:: Not much to say. Great take on the character.

Chiyoko:: The last part where Kero says "Only clow could be this nice!" was my ABSOLUTE favorite! It characterized Kero perfectly. One line wasn't synced but that doesn't matter. I really liked the voice.

Mindychan:: GREAT! AWESOME! SUGOI! That's all I can take. Perfect take on the character.

Chibikat:: I enjoy this voice more than the original deepness. It sounds softer and makes you warm and fuzzy inside. A Genious casting decision.

Mizura:: ADORABLE! Just... WOW!

I just thought of this, but... well, that's how Sakura was talking in the original cuz she was too caught up in her head and feeling down. ^^

Everybody's praising this, so I'm gonna have to be honest because I didn't like it too much.
I know the voices are that high in Japanese, but seriously, doing them that high in English just sounds wierd! None of the characters sound like real people, every single one of them sounds like somebody putting on a funny voice except for some odd reason Kero, the character who's supposed to have a funny voice!
When dubbing anime, you should choose voices to fit the characters rather than to try and clone the original seiyus, everybody was too busy trying to be squeaky to really concentrate on the emotion of the scenes, which were extremely difficult ones to act to begin with, full of short but very emotional lines, little incidentals and pauses and sudden changes in mood. The only outstanding performance was Eriol, who not only had the voice pinned down, but the emotion was spot on and the lip synch not too bad. Li had the emotion right but sounded too old (kinda reminded me of Keiichi from 'Ah Megami Sama!')
The music was well done though and everything was synched well. Everybody else has commented on the opening song, so I'll not say anything about that. Stuff happens and I've heard worse ^_^'
Sakura was just as high as she was in the original and had a veeeeerrrryyy cute Hoeeee! Also didn't drawl like the terrible american VA from 'Cardcaptors'. But I couldn't believe her as a person because she's just too high! Nobody, not even if they're hyperactive and ten years old really talks like that!
Tomoyo the same thing, I actually quite like the rather deeper voice she was given in 'Cardcaptors' (well, in that she was 'Madison'.) A calmer voice would have been better because it would suit her personality more.

i guess some people would like to see voices in english dubs very similar to the japanese ones while others like original english voices...

in dubs the voices match the character but sometimes not their personality. but i guess most fans of original japanese voices dont like the english verson because the voice of the character doesnt sound like the japanese one or something like that? o.O

Anyways, I am about to head off for school so I can't give comments on each person, but I would just like to say that I think everyone did a superb job. Apart from the opening song being a bit off the music (which I understand is a little whoops :p) everything seemed to fit nicely. Thank you Koinu for putting this together. I was wincing as Terada came on, but it isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be with me as him. hehe And yes, I do sound as if Eriol is dead. x_X But.. erm.. that was just part of the backstory that you don't know about.. Terada and Eriol had a little forbidden teacher-student love going on and Terada's heart is breaking to know that he is leaving. Yep.. that's right.. :twisted:

Anyways, off to school right now, but again.. great job everyone!

some had less emotions than others but was overall good
the voices for tomoya and sakura were the sweetest ever
syaoran sounded a little low but the japanese was done by a girl =P
