When I record sounds, it comes out really low. A have to talk real loud and then raise the volume in a software.
I have the volume set to the highest in the microphone volume control in window. I use the mike on my Cosonic Stereo Dynamic headphones for recording.
Anyone knows something I could do?

It might be Headsets aren't as good for recording voice acting as microphones you hold or are on stands. I think it may be something to do with the way they work as they will pick up sound from a wider area but not as well.
Try different recording software and you might also want to check out your sound cards drivers. I'm not sure it will help but you never know.Have you tried another microphone on your pc?

Thanks for replying.
No I havent tried a different mic on this pc.
About different software, well its the same with both Soundforge and the not to spectacular windows sound recorder or whatever its name is.
My soundcard is built into my motherboard. I dint know alot about computer hardware but as far as I know there are no individual drivers for the "sound-section" of the motherboard, the motherboard however has the latest available.
Too bad if its themics fault, I bought it kinda recently and it was pretty expensive :p .

Today I bought a new mic; a table-mic. But its the same problem with that one! its just really low volume, and I am using the microphone boost-thing in the "Advanced controls for microphone" in windows.
What can be the problem, this is really annoying!?

Try amplifying it after recording. Usually this can be found in the effects menu,
