Does anyone have any good public domain mecha and/or robot walking sound effects? I have a need for both coming up, human scale robots and giant ones.

If you do, PM me or let me know where I can find them. I already checked findsounds and freesounds, but no luck. :(

What I'd recommend too is to track down the Super Robot Taisen Original Generation Drama CDs as that's where I got mine from.

Or I'll do you oen even better; here's a whole depository of Gundam SFX ^_^

What I end up doing for Mecha SFX's is that I go thru any movies I have that are mecha related and steal what I can from the DVD's......I've managed to get ALOT just out of the AnimEgo DVD's of Macross with the Vocal selection cut off.

Thanks guys, both good suggestions. I already made use of the Gundam ones, although they're darn oldschool! :sweat Maybe it was a oldschool anime Radio Play!

Hey Mike, where did you get those ominous metal boot sound effects you used on Episode 28 for Gestalt?

Those were from the SFX library here actually. Dunno if the footstep collection is still online though.

Oh yeah that's right, there's an isolated score right? I won the box set two years ago but I haven't gone through all the features ^_^;

Really? I did snag that collection, I guess I didn't notice that one! :sweat

Sigh, I'm at the point where I have more sound effects now than I can possibly remember what I have. Not a bad thing, but it does mean I need to get better organized!
