Dog Rescued After Being Buried Alive
By Associated Press
42 minutes ago
PENSACOLA, Fla. - Whimpers a man heard while doing yard work turned out to be a dog buried alive in a neighbor's backyard. Robbie Wilson said he peaked over his fence and saw the dog's nose poking out of the ground Sunday, a day after he first heard the cries for help. It was not known how long the dog was buried.

I don't know if that qualifies as "cruelty" ... (j/k ^_~)
But yeah -- why would someone do that ?!! That's just awful! I'm glad he was rescued, though.
The cruelest thing would have been to never tell a soul. Ever.

Or just maybe it is requesting a curse from god on an object, person, act etc etc etc. Save yourself some time, instead of trying to plead with a possibly non-existant omnipresent being to exact your revenge on the dog buryer. HIT HIM OVER THE HEAD WITH A SHOVEL! Quick, easy and it doesn't involve favours for favours. -.-

I find it interesting that they spelled "peeked" wrong in a supposed "press article." But hey.
That is truly sad and I am relieved they got the dog back relatively safely (and alive). It's really disturbing to know that this kind of thing *does* happen in the world and we can't exactly stop it.

How did that dog like, not inhale dirt? O_o;;
Poor dog though. Being buried alive is one of my biggest fears, so I can't imagine how horrible that must be.

I saw that on the news, I was like "You gotta be kidding me." People like that should be punished severely.
