My Rewrite of InuYasha (Finally closed for now)

(Note: If you are a purist of Inu-Yasha, then just don't bother with this post. And I also like to warn you that this is a considerably darker story with a bit more language, violence and sexual content.)

Yes folks believe it or not I am planning on doing Radioplays for my series' that I write at Freedom of Speech Fanfiction Archive. They are long-running but the reason why I intend to do so is because to not make them seem so long. You see the episodes that are often posted months after eachover and they seem to be going too slowly. I don't intend to rush because thinking of what I'm going to write is often not a problem for me, its making time for it on the other hand is a difficulty. Sure I may've been busy for various important reasons but there are also plenty of times in which I could've done more but didn't. So this kind of an incentive to be sure I try to do episodes a little more often. (And admittingly this is slightly also Plan B in case if my SVC Radioplay has to be stopped by some "Cease and Desist" letter like how Dranzer's Chrono Trigger Radioplay did. I still keep going on that until I do but still.) And the first one I shall do is for my first fic series of my rewrite of Inu-Yasha. Yes believe it or not I am doing a rewrite of the Inu-Yasha series. There will be plenty of differences but not to worry there is certainly plenty of familiar material though.

For the more prominent characters I do ask that you will be availible as much as possible. I know we all have lives outside this place and all but still it would be for the best to be prepared that if your getting a remotely main role you'll probably be doing this for a considerable while. However aside from Inu-Yasha (at least for the most part) nobody will be in every single episode anyways so you don't need to worry too much. But I'll have to warn you this isn't a Manga Radioplay/Anime Fandub so my version will have differences. And for those whom are familiar with the show feel free to imitate the English or Japanese voices if you like (or others) but if you can't then please do your take on the characters then. There are lines that maybe substantially satirical but this is a rewrite of Inu-Yasha not just a spoof. This audition list will have whom I written in the storyline so far so if there is nothing intresting for you now, then don't worry as there will be later. I made notes over every audition line, some may not be necessary but I'd thought I want to be consistent in it. But still here is a Radioplay other one of the anime rewrites out there. (I'm not the only one as I have looked at rewrites of various other anime such as One Piece, DBZ and Transformers Energon and the like.) Oh yes and I'll be doing the Narration and some randon Monster growls as well along with potentially a bit more.

The Rules are...
1. Please record your auditions in either Wav or MP3
2. Label your Aud lines "Your Name_Role Name_Line#"
3. Have them in a Zipped folder titled "Your Name_InuYasha Rewrite" sent to Pokejedservo@msn.com
4. The Deadline for the lines will be November 10th, however it is flexible in case if extensions are needed

Before he became Naraku, his body was severely battered which was why he only spoke in fragmented words in a strained voice. However during his transformation as Naraku he spoke a bit more clearly. I could potentially offer the role of Onigumo and Naraku as seperate roles to audition for but for now I am thinking of doing this like that.

Okay I finally did some more casting, but its not completely done yet. In fact the only role left is Old Kaede. I finally made my casting decision on Old Kaede and then finally end this for now, Taco will be the main choice for Old Kaede!

Why? She was the most consistent with the elderly tone in her Old Kaede voice. (While doing some fairly good emoting in the lines). There were some lines in which bal_ny and RadiantPaws didn't quite sound old enough. However bal_ny was slightly more consistent than Radiantpaws should she gets the US. But don't feel bad RadiantPaws there is a slightly decent chance that you'll be get to do it at all being third in line. (Like how I am doing with Ayumi-Chan as Athena in my SVC radioplay.)

But still the casting is finally done for now!
