Yaoi/Shounen-ai Contest

Hello, Hello!



The outline for this contest is very simple. VAs can pair up and make a skit - with the basis of the pair being a couple, ex-couple, or some other form of romantic interest. Nothing can be X rated, unless it is a spoof of said showings. Males and Females can join. (Aslong as they still sound like guys. XD)

The way it works is that people send their skits to my email adress and depending on the number recieved a top 3 or 5 skits will be picked. Then those 3 or 5 are going to be placed in one thread on the Completed works board. There will also be a poll so people can choose their favorite.



Rules:

No time limit

Rating: G - R

Genre: Anything applies (No hentai unless a parody and somewhat censored.)

Number of People taking part: Usually a pair, but if you can make more work-Go for it!

All people entering the contest can send up to a maximum of 3 skits. All can use the same subjcect, setting, and characters if you want - aslong as the plot's atleast different in a way.

Can be an original radioplay, or using characters from an anime/video game.
Also can be a fandub. This is all for fun, so don't be shy. Whether you just joined the site, or you've been here forever , just try. It'll give you more experience and also a chance to maybe work with one of your VA friends or someone you admire. The voices can even be done just by you! Or if you are a producer, you can scout out said semes and ukes.

Deadline: I've been a big sick douchebag, so the deadline is now pushed back to January 1st,2007. (The deadline can be extended if needed.)

Skits should be saved as mp3s with your usernames and name of project on the title. If the project is untitled, just use your names.

Do whatever works for you, there are hardly any restrictions.

@ Rabids Squirrel : I guess R constitues as everything that applies to the movies. And for the sex part I guess the difference between that in NC-17 and R movies is that in NC-17 movies the sex is more graphic; almost to a porn extent. While in R movies it's obvious that the " lovin' " is going on, but it still leaves enough to the imagination.

I'm sorry to say that How Soon Is Now? wouldn't work. Mainly because it's not really a skit. If you do, however, have leftovers or a small part of the script for the play that you don't think would really work in the full project - you can always put that towards a smaller skit which would be great for the contest.

Either way, How Soon Is Now? is a win to me. ;-)
