WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD

OK, after much trouble with Audacity, I finally finished my first fandub. This is my first try at mixing anything other than a demo, so be gentle. Sorry for there being a bit of a volume problem near the middle, Audacity still hates me.

Yay, it's done! ^^ I enjoyed this project and I think everyone did very good, exclude me. ROFL I agree I was very, emotionless... o.o; and my laughing sounded massively fake. XD; Well I hope I will do better next time ^^ (if there is a next time XD; )

...Really? lol *stretches* I think my best parts were where I was laughing, breathing, whistling... yeah. XP Near the middle there right on that, "I am back" makes me cringe. The rest is good for my little noobish self, though. :3

I think the biggest surprise was moose, if not for his Wakka, then for his editting! =D

I think the Yuna was especially nice as well. She really fit the part.

That was really good. Neko Girl, you ruined it a bit (not being rude or anything). You were a little bit emotionless and the laugh sounded a bit fake but otherwise, your voice was good. I liked the voice. The voice was nice. XD Sorry, if I sound really harsh there. But Moose. You were brilliant. I loved the Wakka voice. It was cool!

Yea, I didn't amplify that part because doing so would make them both sound like they were talking through Walkie-Talkies. So yea, SCREW YOU AUDACITY! But seriously, they were supposed to be whispering most of that, so I decided leaving it a little quiet would be a good idea.

It wasn't that bad, was it? I set the volume for the first half, before everyone started whispering, and then I realized it was too loud when they whispered, but lowering the volume equally for both would require redoing the whole thing, which was out of the question.

Thanks, that took forever to get right. That definitely means a lot to me that you like it.

Here's my review of the VA's:

Comedy: I definitely liked your voice for this. Very good emotion to (and nice laughing). I actually liked your "I am back" line. The one line I didn't care for was "Who asked you to watch Wakka?". It kind of sounded like you put a little bit of a high society accent on it XD. Other than that, the rest was great. You also had suprisingly good mic quality.

Neko: I knew your voice would fit Yuna's. If it's not an insult, you sound a lot like the original VA for Yuna. I have to admit, the laughing was a little forced, but you conveyed everything with pretty good emotion. There is one piece of advice I would like to give you, GET A BETTER MICROPHONE! :D. That's the only thing really. It was so quiet and robotic, I had to fiddle with each line to make it even hear-able. Other than the mic, though, your performance was great.

Tsuki: I just wish that Rikku could of had more lines. You did awesome with this. Not a complaint what-so-ever (except you were the last one to get your lines in, GAH! XD) .

Zelina: I'm not sure how you would of done if you had speaking lines, but the giggles for Paine/Lulu were great. It was a good mix of dark and young, without sounding like a pure evil laugh. Good job. If I do another FF X or X-2 dub, I'll make sure those characters have more lines. I wanna hear your voice for that.

And thanks to everyone who liked my Wakka voice.

You're right. Not about the one line being not bad, but about that one being bad too. XP Iono, I like the idea of doing a little more with another cutscene or something together. I didn't like FFX or FFX-2 but I did actually have a good time with this. :D

This was my first fandub, after all. The practice would do me good.

Couldn't see it (Damn outdated library software). But I heard it. Sadly...it...pulled...a...William...Shatner...on me. Buffering... buffering.... But all in all it...buffering....sounded good.... Closed.

Well, chances of me finding another good scene with lots of talking are pretty slim. I am trying to look for the scene when Tidus first arrives at Besaid in FFX, but no luck so far.

You could do FFX:AS (Final Fantasy X: Another Story). It's like... a prequel to FFX-2... or... erm... I kinda forget. >.> Yup. I know where to find it if you want. ^^

Comedy_17 - I think you did a pretty good job overall. The only things that bugged me were the two lines that other people have already mentioned: "I'm back" and the one said to Wakka. The first sounded a bit...flat and the latter sounded a bit snobbish. X3;

Neko Girl - I personally think you have a nice sound/quality to your voice that would fit Yuna's character well, but you did sound a bit emotionless for most of the lines. Just keep practicing, I can tell you've got a lovely voice.

Tsuki-,Zelina, Moose - Not too much to say on these, since they were minimal parts. ^.^; I thought you all did a pretty good job, though, from what I heard, and I paticularly loved your Wakka, Moose.

Mixing - Overall, I thougt it was pretty good. I think there were a few parts where the voices didn't quite match up with the video, but that might have been my computer lagging. >.> other than that, I thought it was pretty well done.

Mmmmm.... great for your first fandub, I enjoyed it. xD The mixing was good, a little few pointers for next time though...turn the background music down just a LITTLE bit more. I could barely hear Tidus and Yuna talking. xD And the crowd cheering was kind cut off, I don't know if you were thinking that maybe Tidus and Yuna couldn't hear the cheering where they were, but if they heard Wakka I think the cheering should have been there too, just a lot softer. x3

Tidus: Comedy_17: I'm impressed that was good. xD Your voice fit, it was a little young but not too young at the same time. Very nice for a first. xD xD

Yuna: Neko Girl: Nothing much to say, it was great. xD Natural and the voice fit.

Yea, a few other people told me about that. I wanted to make it so it fades out a little, but Audacity was screwing with me, and that's the exact way it was in the original clip, so I stuck with that. I'm glad you liked the rest :grin: .

Comedy_17 : OMG You make one hell of a Tidus! I adore it! The only lines that bugged me have already been commented on. I hope when I cast the rest of the male characters for my radioplay that you'll try out. :smile:
