Two rounds up? My God! I think this is the farthest any Broadway Idol has gotten. And we are still going strong!

Welcome to Broadway Idol Round 2!
The theme this round was Upbeat. Contestants had to sing a song that is more upbeat, fast paced, and all around "fun" in nature. Judging focused on the singer's ability to have fun with the song and show that fun in their voice. Entries could not exceed 2 minutes in length. Use of background music was optional.

We had four people drop out since the last round, so only 1 person shall be eliminated per round from now on rather then the original 2 per round.

You can download the songs in 3 sets. The links and the list of who is in each set are below.

Congrats to those moving on.

(NOTE: Which judge each score and critique belongs to is private. If they choice to make themselves known, they may do so. Please don't ask me who scored how. I set this system up to assure that the judges give their honest opinions rather then them holding back what they really think for fear of being hounded.)

Okay, with scores from a 3 to a 9.5, I'm rather confused. I've not received the crits yet, so I'll wait and see. But I think I'm gonna listen to whoever gave me the 7. They're all... middle-y.

Congrats to all who made it! ...*really wishes she hadn't sung Popular so that she could sing I'm Not That Girl* Ah, well. Karaoke hunting time.
