Aeris appears to have her hands folded behind her back in typical Aeris fashion, and Cloud with his typical hands-hanging-off-the-side posture. Either that or Cloud's arm is linked with Aeris's. But this is good, this is very good. XD I'm so excited.

I'm an Aeris fan, so of course I wouldn't mind seeing her return. XD But they already experimented with similar methods in FFX and FFX-2. It could happen. Not an option I'm ruling out. But I'm pretty satisfied with what Square has already confirmed, that Aeris will have a role in AC, and now these teasing Cloud/Aeris hints.

Lance wasn't that bad, but you can't really judge him in it from the game cause we didn't get to hear alot. He only had like 3 or 4 rather short lines cuase they were attack phrases and such.

The dub of Advent Children Complete has already been completed and will be included in the Blu-Ray Japanese version.

The movie is coming by April 16th in Japan. Don't know about when Sony will bring it over here.

I just hope Crisis Core Aerith dubs over Mena Suvari.

You know... it actually would be a good idea. Remaking Final Fantasy VII For the PS3. I mean, how many people saw that techincal demo? It was absolutely brilliant. Maybe it's just what the PS3 needs. I mean, if Square Enix really went through and remade it, I GUARANTEE that people would be buying PS3's left and right JUST to get that game. I'd get the game for sure, because... well, like Dark said, the graphics just aren't... for the original Playstation. It's really what the PS3 could do with; A classic RPG game that revolutionized RPGs. I mean exactly how many good RPG games does the PS3 have right now? >.> None that keep me interested, that's for sure.

As for Final Fantasy Advent Children Complete... I can't WAIT to get that! And it's coming with a demo of Final Fantasy XIII! Major Gleeeeee. =D

As far as AC goes, I'm still debating on importing the Complete Blu-Ray for the english and Japanese audio. I want a US release window, but so far we've got nothing.

Advent Children is hitting it up in the US, the April 16th 2009 is a World Wide release, not only that Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete will be featuring a new theme song for the English version, known as "Leave."

I wonder if they redubbed the entire film (leaving some one liner characters alone). Not that there's anything wrong with the dub, it'll just feel like a new product that way. ...eh, probably not. Square USA can be pretty cheap...like Re:CoM's localization. Doubt they redid the lip sync. It'd be pretty cool if they did though.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring 'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete' to Blu-ray on June 7th. Video will be presented in 1.78:1 1080p AVC accompanied by both English and Japanese Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtracks. Additionally, English subtitles will be available for those who which to watch the film using the original Japanese soundtrack.

The problem is that Blu-Ray movies, unlike PS3 Blu-Ray games, are still region coded and won't work on your PS3 or home Blu-Ray player if it's from America.

Considering that we're getting the identical packaging, why not just wait?

Nothing was confirmed that On the Way to a Smile is or isn't dubbed. ...though, I think it should. It's new material. :sweat

I'm aware it HAS been released what I said was that it wasn't the first time. I have both the original release as well as the limited edition, and it's only on the limited edition which was released a year or two later.

I don't know though about the non-dubbing, it was just a thought since it wasn't released the first time.

Apparently, all the music tracks are reimagined. "Sign" is getting tons of praise. I've been hearing Advent: One Winged Angel is more theatrical and no vocals. That's according to someone who saw and listened to the soundtrack

Also, in both versions, Denzel and Marlene have been recasted. ...well I don't know about the former in the Japanese. But, yeah.

..now don't get me wrong.. I liked the dub and all.. but watching the trailer dubbed wasn't nearly as much of an experience for me.

I've seen the movie a month ago. It completely trumps the original cut with its added footage. Though, the pacing itself is a tad rocky, with some conversations being a tad draggy. It was dissappointing that the older footage got upscalled instead of being rerendered, but the newer scenes were great. The sound department has been redone a bit too. Music is rearranged to fit what's going on in the scenes. Some added sound effects like Cloud's aura sound for his Limit Breaks and a tuning fork sound to go along with Sephiroth's Masamune. The latter...makes me wonder why they didn't think of that idea in the first place. It makes the Masamune feel like it isn't a regular sword.

The returning VAs did a good job in getting back into their roles, but Steve Burton, Rachael Leigh Cook and Wally Wingert excelled themselves. Aaron Refven and Ariel Winter do a solid job with the kids, too. The same goes with the Japanese side, though I'm debating with myself whether or not Takahiro Sakurai did a good job with the scenes where Cloud talks to Marlene and Denzel. But, that's just my opinion.

Eh, I've never really liked this movie. All this really was to me was a really pretty movie. But otherwise I didn't like it, but I wasn't really a huge fan of FF7 to begin with. Sure it was a good game but there were SO MANY FF games that were better. But at least 7 is better than 8. (F*** SUCKING SPELLS GRAAHHH!)

Well the added stuff helps the story a good deal, such as origins of Kadaj and gang revealed.
But I kind of feel like the new footage is a little more cleaner looking than the existing we've seen in the last 5 years.
Still I'm really liking it cause SONY did a bang up job on restoring the footage for HD purposes.

I downloaded a copy for my ipod and also bought the Blu-Ray. The Blu-Ray is for my brother's 24th birthday so we won't be able to enjoy that for a little while. But I just watched it on my ipod and I enjoyed it immensely. The new actors for Marlene and Denzel worked really well. I was happy that the Turks got more screen time, but unfortunately, Red XIII still only has that one line at the end. It's a shame, especially since he's played by Liam O'Brien. I would have loved to hear more of him. Reno and Rude were at the top of their game once again (gotta love Quinton and Crispin). I was also happy to see more of Zack, and got a little fanboy-ish when they started showing scenes from Crisis Core. Overall, I loved it.

yep, it was good. It even made me go and buy Crisis Core again since I never got to finish it due to lack of time. Now I'm on the final boss but keep dying, bah.
