I've returned with a VERY ambitious song project!

I'm casting for "One Day More!" A group song from the musical Les Miserables.

Audition rules are simple.

1. Record your audition lines as yourname_charactername1.mp3/whatever, yournames_charactername2....etc... (ex: cassie_eponine1.mp3, cassie_eponine2.mp3)
2. Include a .txt file with your name, e-mail, AIM (if applicable), and whether or not you'd be willing to be cast in a role you did not audition for.
3. Zip as Yourname_OneDayMore.zip
4. Send auditions to EvilEmperorCassandra@gmail.com



Now on to the audition lines.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm looking for singing talent, not imitations. Certain characters do have distinctive voices (like Valjean and Eponine) and if you can sound like them I won't hold it against you. Do not try to give Javert a high voice or try to sing Mme. Thenardier as an operatic voice though. I do still want the ranges the same.

If you feel you can pull off the opposite gender, go for it. Anyone can audition for the parts of the 'students'


VALJEAN: (male. Tenor)

The lyrics aren't quite in the right order, which makes it a little hard to follow. Not impossible though.

Oh how you tempt me with your Les Miserables ways! This show holds a special place in my heart for two reasons. It was the first Broadway level production I have seen (Globe San Francisco) and Master of the House was the first Broadway song I learned.

Thenardier is a dirty rat bastard but goodness it would be fun to put his miserly boots on again.

It would be impossible to get my voice (let alone breathing) back to a level needed with in two weeks. But I think I will call my old voice teacher and give this one a try!

I think I'll try out for Javert. I don't know if my voice can reach a baritone range, but I'll certainly try. I just have to wait until I have some alone time.

By the way, I've never seen Les Mis. The song's cool, though. :P
