Lol, I made another little game. All you have to do is say die to the anime you are very annoyed at here for being fandubbed so much.


EXAMPLE :::

DIE!!! WEDDING PEACH (just an example)

Many times died ::

Mermaid Melody = 2
Tokyo Mew Mew = 1
ANIME ALL TOGETHER = 1 (XD)

Mermaid Melody is being overfandubbed in such a small amount of time. What, about 10 in less than a week? (I may be exaggerating in the number of times, or the time, though I believe it has been less than a week) So, it needs to die. Like, now.

And sorry if I'm offending one of the many fans, but I had to let it out. Seriously. HOW MUCH MM CAN YOU DO?! >.>

And...if I didn't dearly love auditioning for Aoyama...Tokyo Mew Mew too...

So a lot of people fandub something, and suddenly you don't like it? It's like...reverse bandwagoning or something. XD You know what? There's too much anime here. It's the Voice Acting Alliance, last time I checked. Not the Anime Fandubbing Alliance. So DIE ANIME! DIE DIE DIE! ^-^

Note: This post contains irony. topleka says that too many people fandub anime, while topleka also fandubs anime. You may hate Mermaid Melody, but don't tell me you've never auditioned for Sailor Moon or Inuyasha (or...::gasp:: fandubbed scenes of it yourself). See? Irony. Tada!

Eh. I can't say I hate Mermaid Melody, because I've never seen it. It's just that there are so many fandubs of it...granted, I've fandubbed an episode of TMM myself, but I don't want to do any more right now because everyone else is fandubbing it. I like to do things that are at least somewhat refreshing, even if they are still popular~

topleka-chan is right. However, I just believe that people should give things that have about a million fandubs a rest for a short period of time. Like Ouran: I'm planning on doing something from it, but I'm waiting for people to stop being annoyed of the sudden plethora of auditions/projects.

TMM and MAYBE MMPPP. (I auditioned once. ^^; ) Oh not to mentio Full Moon! Too much stuff! Plus why hold stupid auditions when the people that have gotten those characters before ARE going to get the parts anyways. >>;; Stupid. Honestly, can't anyone do something different? Example, I am like the second person I know that has dubbed Pita Ten! So annoying!

Bleach? @_@;; I've seen so few Bleach productions around here... even fewer getting finished. But the rest are agreed upon, even if the whole Inuyasha thing has surprisingly died down quite a bit, save for a few fanatics here and there. XDD

Wasn't the point to "kill" things that are "overfandubbed?" There is only one DoReMi fandub in existence (I'm also a total loser and I sent in my lines late, but that's another story).

I Wanna See More Fandubs on More Underated Anime.

Although Tokyo Mew Mew is Popular alot here on VAA, But I still Consider it Underated, Because TMM in General does'nt Receive the Same Popularity in America like Sailor Moon Did.

I am sick and tired of seeing 50 thousand Sailor Moon dubs. Inuyasha seems to be overdone alot around here as well.

I'd like to see more of animes that people don't usually fandub around here. Get some new and fresh things going.

Mangas as radioplays isn't anything new here. ^-^ But it's not really that annoying, if you ask me. I think Mai HiMe (did I spell that right? xD) is begginning to be overdubbed.

I guess it's just because I don't like animes that take 5 million episodes for one character to tell another character that they like them. >>;

I don't really mind that there are repeat projects... like... with MMPPP... sure there's been a lot of projects, but almost all of them are different... different eps or different songs...
Different producers like different episodes. As long as it's not the exact same thing everytime, I see no problem with it. With a few exceptions, it isn't always the exact same people getting cast, so I think it's fun to see a similar project, with completely different voices.

And it makes sense that certain things are dubbed so much. Getting the music and sounds for things like Full Moon and Sailor Moon is much easier, and there's already a fanbase...

Heh... and I kinda like all the Sailor Moon stuff... eventually you totally mold your own voice for the different scouts that you use everytime. Makes auditions and lines easy. :P


BUT... I guess I'm not really going with the point of the thread, huh?
I will say that Sailor Stars ep 167 is getting slightly old... since I've seen at least 5 threads for that since I came here, and I'm sure there have been way more than that. So... that's my vote. :)

Sailor Moon has always been everywhere I've looked ever since I started back in 2001. It's kinda how this whole place was born (if you want to think of Mark Sprague's SMS fandub as the impetus for our community...haha I have that on VHS.)

That being said, I love SM. I will never get tired of it. I do get tired of people who started AVAing 3 minutes ago deciding to dub the whole series and never getting past the audition stages, though.

I'd say just don't audition for the clips and don't watch the dubs that you don't want to.

All those too cutsie shows I don't really like, (hehehehe ^^;;;) so I don't audition for them and don't watch them.
