I love reading mangas and i was just curious of what mangas everyone else is reading. I don't think theres already a thread like this x_x if there is, sorry!

I'm currently reading;

-Princess Ai oh god i'm stuck in this manga!! Its sooo good x_x I wanna read mooore!

-Fruits Basket this has got to be the most addictive manga made! If i get a new volume, i read the whole thing in 1 - 3 hours. Then i have to wait 3-4 months for the new volume to come out! ITS TORTURE!!!!!

-Love Hina i'm sloowly reading this series but now that its getting interesting, i'm really stuck in it and i just want all the volumes! Good thing my local bookshop sells them and i have a manga collectors card! >D

-MARS this is a good manga, but to me its not a top choice. I can only read a volume over a few days otherwise it gets boring. Its still a cute romance/drama story though.

-Happy Mania apart from the fact that this is an "18+" manga, it has a great story xD I started reading it when i was single and i could relate to the main char (not that i used to sleep with 1000 guys a week) but i stopped for some reason when i finally got a boyfriend. Now i've started reading it again and i forgot how good it was xD

-Pita-Ten this is a cute manga, but i haven't enough much yet to comment much.

-Comic Party same as above

Mars - I reread this all the time! To make it last longer, i usually read a volume a day! But when i first got into it, I would read 3-4 volumes a day!! And i just keep reading it!! ITS SO FREAKIN' GREAT!! There is not a manga out there that can beat it o.o best...manga... EVER!!!

Fruits Basket - A very good manga. Though, lately its been very stale. I hope the next volume makes up for that. Just hasn't been as exciting lately. Though, its a freakin' rip to wait 4 months per issue!!

Kare Kano - Now this is trully a great manga! I love stories with a bunch of teens all going in completely opposet directions. Each his/her own. Each character completely different than the last, with a huge future before them in whatever they are good at. And for a couple others (I wont name them in sake of spoliers) they found another path in life that expands just getting a job. Beautifully written, beautiful ideas, and I just love it so much!

I read a few others... but nothing like those three. There are SO little good mangas now a days. So i only buy the best of the best! I dont read tons; i just dont got the money for that! So I'll single out the best >.>

Parfait Tic - The first long manga I ever got into. Happily awaiting the radio play.

Hot Gimmick - Very addictive. First manga I ever actually went out and bought so I could see what was next.

Lovely Complex - Bad Samrin for getting me addicted. tsk tsk.

Ichigo Channel - It's cute. Bad me for reading spoilers though.

Koi Suru 1/4 - Typical shoujo... but I luff it. :)

Love hina - Grr, it's really good, but I don't have any money to buy the rest. T_T I read them off a friend who had all of them, but since I moved to Canada a few months ago, I haven't been able to read any more. =/

Onegai Teacher - I think the protagonist is weird, but it's okay.

Naruto - I'm only interested in the more recent volumes, though.

Mahou Sensei Negima - What can I say, Ken Akamatsu's a genius. ^^ I only read it through scanlations though, but I've read every volume. Giving each and every one of his 30+ cast a totally different hairstyle, height, appearance, and character is just amazing.

I just finished Pretear (kind of old series but whatever) I highly recommend it, it is sooooo much better then the anime (and way different at many levels). Even the ending is different. I'm also working on DNAngel, Fruits Basket, and Tactics.

- Deathnote: the only manga I've read that made me feel guilty of the crimes. Each chapter more heart racing than the last. VERY addictive...WHY MUST I WAIT 'TIL MAY FOR THE NEXT ONE?!)

- Eyeshield 21: gives a real great sense of action and speed, fun characters too, even if you don't care for American Football

- Yotsuba&!: Very easy to read again, and again, and again without getting old. Must read for fans of Azumanga Diao. Is there more than 3 volumes yet?

- Battle Angel Alita - Last Order: An alternate continuation to my fav manga of all time. Amazing action.

- Genshiken: Feels very authentice, the life of a University club of otaku. Fun read.

- Project Arms: A series where the characters do what you want them to do, they take no crap, and with their organic 'ARMS' weaponry, they can sure deal it

Yu Yu Hakusho: Kind of good so far.

Death Note: Excellent. Ties as best Shonen Jump title along with One Piece.

Bleach: I'm up to volume fourteen. I don't think it's that great, especially hearing how good it's supposed to be. The fights are kind of repetitive to me. Ichigo finds a guy, starts to lose against him then gets a power up to defeat him. There's no real...dangerous nature to the fights, they just happen. Some of the characters are fun and the action is drawn well though.

I'm considering picking Naruto up again, just for the hell of it.

I just finished Azumanga Daioh (<3 <3 <3) and am finally starting FMA.

I totally recommend checking out Saikano! It's this really sad, beautiful story about this girl who gets turned into this weapon of the military and is forced to destroy the world. AND it's a lovestory! Hahaha can't get better than that!

Death Note- Got hooked on this one in Japan in Japanese before I was able to read Hirigana and know what they were even saying in Japanese

Buso Renkin- Same thing for Death Note applies to this. It is such a good series about squealed when I saw the first volume on sale in English.

D.N. Angel -Also got hooked on this one in Japan with it being entirelly in Japanese (seem to doing that a lot)

Full Moon wo Sagashite- I actually need to catch up with this one love it to death though.

Chrono Crusade- LOVE IT!

Rurouni Kenshin :: This is by far the best series ever! I love this show and book series!
Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch :: I like this series, but is yet very perverted and that is a main reason I don't like it, but I will continue to get it!
Demon Diary :: I love this series! and that's all I have to say! XD
Kodocha :: I borrowed a couple books from my friends, still reading it's pretty funny, I have watched the TV series and the book is pretty funny

-Dream Saga: Its a nice read...a little slow getting to the main story plot but after about book 3 it gers interesting...then again with only 5 books in the series by the 3rd you would hope it would get interesting....[collection finished]

I just finished reading the Japanese raw of Mermaid Melody volume 7.

Currently slowly but surely working my way through the Japanese raw volumes of Rozen Maiden =D I've already gotten through volume 1 and half of volume 2.

I'm buying all my manga in Japanese now that I can actually read it. The only English manga I'm still collecting is Swan, since finding Japanese volumes of a 1979 shoujo manga isn't exactly going to go well with my wallet.

I only have Volume one of the fruits basket manga. I watched the anime and I've been a Yuki X Tohru fan ever since [I HATE kyo X Tohru with a passion] So I never got into the manga.

I'm currently reading Dramacon and Tramps Like Us. I tried reading RG Veda, but I got bored very quickly. I love (old skool) CLAMP, but I can't get into it as much as X/1999 and Magic Knights Rayearth. At least it's still better than Tsubassa.

i had the first volume of that but i thought there was very little content. i know in loads of manga there are double spreads which are simply a picture and since it is a comic you expect there to be few words but I just felt either there wasn't enough words or simply the story didn't move. maybe it gets better in later volumes? Or perhaps it's just my taste.

A badass immortal who loses his arm or leg now and then, a determined but clueless girl who seeks revenge, lotsa revolutionaries and a mad doctor who compares tree cultivation with how human blood groups work (don't wanna spoil too much). and Death Note, finally got myself part of the manga. Niiiice character-design, just look at the Yotsuba group, they all look pretty differently (Higuchi looks so cool) (in the Anime they stick more to one style making some of them look kinda alike)
the funniest thng was when one of my friends looked at it and said: aaargh, so many words! it's a damn mangaaa *whines*.

Naruto: I'm keeping up with the Manga scanlations online as well as reading the Viz translations. I'm just a hardcore fan of this series. A lot of people think the plot is overdone and junk, but I relate to this series very deeply. Naruto's character is so dynamic, just as many of the other characters, that I can relate with him in almost every aspect.

One Piece: I am so behind in this series, and it is killing me. I've read the first 12 volumes, and I have yet to buy the 13th and 14th. I love this series as well because it's such a wonderful mix of Eastern and Western comics. And again, the characters are quite well filled out.

Yu Yu Hakusho: I have yet to read Volume 10, but I was a fan of the Anime ever since it came out in America. When I read Manga and watch Anime, the one thing I am always looking into is character. This is a wonderful variety. I love it.

Mushishi: I just bought the 2nd volume today. The art of this Manga is truly captivating. Just gorgeous. The Manga-Ka won the Kodansha Manga Award, so that was how this series was born. The artwork is breath-taking, the stories are mystical, and the main character, Ginko, is downright hot. Total win.

Yurara: I'm disappointed to see that this Manga is such a short series. I picked it up after skimming it a bit. The one thing I love about Shoujo is romance. I'm a hopeless romantic...and can be a bit of an eroticist at times. This first volume seemed to satiate my perverted side well enough. I can't wait to continue reading. Plus, the artwork is gorgeous, and the characters [didn't see that coming, did you?] are very interesting.

NANA. Up to volume 6. Why yes, I do prefer Komatsu Nana over Osaki Nana.

Kamichama-Karin. Because Koge-Donbo's works are the best. I've been stuck on Volume 5 forever, since Barnes&Noble *never* seem to have the last two volumes.

Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. Missing Volume... 11 or 12 or something, but I have the one after that.

Fruits Basket. Who *isn't* reading this? Need Volume 17 ASAP.

Also semi-reading xxxHOLiC and Konkon Kokon (more Koge-Donbo Kamichama-Karin crossover goodness!). Since xxxHOLiC is released a little slower than Tsubasa, I've been falling behind on that and if I want to save my money, I choose Tsubasa over xxxHOLiC. Despite the fact I'm a huge Watanuki-kun fangirl. I just saw Konkon Kokon Volume 1 and since it's Koge-Donbo and all and since I was disappointed for the umpteenth time that Kamichama-Karin Volume 6 and 7 weren't present and since Konkon Kokon has Himeka and Kazune as relatively major characters, I decided that I'll get my Koge-Donbo/Kamichama-Karin fix this way. It's cute, like any of Koge-Donbo-sensei's fabulous works, but didn't immediately grab me like Kamichama-Karin.

ah yeah and I'm also reading Naruto, am up-to-date. A rare thing for me, I'm even behind with the Anime, which in my opinion is more "childish" than the manga, they always add extra kids' stuff grml.
I'm reading the scanlations esp. because of an RPG I play in where the chars are already grown up XD.
I think Naruto should end sometime soon though...the trump card of revealing some character's identities has been played and other characters are already getting way too powerful <.<...

I read EXTREMELY fast (not even just manga, but also books). So I re-read a lot of my manga over and over again. Lets see:

Gravitation/EX- Favorite ever! I'm waiting for the second volume of the sequel and it is slow torture!
Sailor Moon- Last X-Mas I gave all my TokyoPop volumes too this my Angel Tree Child because she loved Sailor Moon. So now I'm collecting the the revised volumes in original Japanese.
FAKE- Eh. I'll give it a while.
Fruits Basket- LALALALOVES it!
Ceres Celestial Legend- Its kinda getting freaky.
Rayearth- Rush but its a nice fantasy fix.

That's what I'm currently reading/re-reading. And I just picked up Bleach and Loveless first volumes last night. So I'll be reading those later.

When I read.. It only takes me about 30 to 40 minutes to read 2 mangas... So I read through the really fast. Thus the reason why I have started so many XD So I'm thinking of spending all my money on Manga at Mikomicon XD

Naruto - I have read all the current books that were released in the USA. I have them all actually ^-^;; I also have been TRYING to keep up with the Manga Fan-Translations. I had stopped a while ago, but ti was KILLING me to read what was going on just because it's way farther than the anime and I absolutely need to read it.... It's hard to keep reading some thing so long XD and the chapters are some what getting interesting =D I agree with Kage-Ichihashi about the characteristics and plot. They just draw you in and you HAVE to read more XD
Bleach - Okay truth, I have only read 8 books because my brother has them and I have only seen the Mod-Sould filler episodes. I like the book series better.
Venus Versus Virus - I had bought the first book before watching the series. I really, really like this series =D The book is really nice and the way it was drawn pulls me in >.<
He Is My Master!? - AHA! When I saw the manga came out at AX. I had to buy it! So I bought it and I think it's absolutely better than the Animes series, funnier as well.
Strawberry Marshmallow/Ichigo Mashimaro - I love this series, it's so random XD
Full Moon o Sagashite - I have watched the entire series and I need to buy the rest of the books A.S.A.P
Mermaid Melody - It was actually the first Manga I havee ver bought, because I COULD NOT read them at first >.< I need to buy the new ones that came out...

I started ALOT of series, but fail to buy the rest of the books. Including Demon Diary, Kamichama Karin, Rurouni Kenshin and P.H.D. There are also some books I want to read, but I have yet to buy them like Strawberry Panic! (Awaiting the day of the release) and Chibi Vampire Karin

Trinity Blood - Good Lord I love this series. The manga and the novels are ten times as good as the anime.
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle - I'm into the fan translations now, and I'm going crazy waiting for the next chapter to come out...I need to know what happens next!!
D. Gray-Man - I've been watching fan subs of the anime for awhile now and my friend got me the first volume for Christmas. *hugs friend*

I'm presently reading Trigun, which is the first manga I've ever read (not counting a few online mangas, which really isn't the same feel as actually holding the book in your hands. Why am I just now reading mangas when I didn't even read many comic books as a kid? Well, I'm getting to know the field of manga writing. I was going to write a book and when I explained the concept to a friend he said I should manga-tize it.

I considered, and decided to give it a shot. So presently I'm going about the business of learning the business. Actually, this same project is what lead me here... I intend to create a audio play on the same story.

Death Note. I actually held off watching fansubbed versions of this show, and promised myself I would only watch the English release. Now that it's here though, I'm too pumped to wait a whole week for each new episode.

So I picked up the manga, and I've enjoyed up to volume 7 so far. I do miss the whole hair colour-changing soliloquies, but I find that there's more time to explain little details, and that some scenes are presented better on paper, particularly when Rem threatens to kill Light unless he protects Misa.

Hmm the only manga/anime I've really read/watched much is Naruto but I really want to check out Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, and Fruits Basket. I've read several chapters of all of them, and I really want to read them all hehe. Time and money is rarely on my side for me to read all the manga in the world though.

Is Gurren Lagan alright? I was watching it on SciFi the other day, but i dont know...
