First thing you should do it try to lower your mic volume~ Don't try to scream/shout directly into your mic. If that doesn't weild better results, take a step back (just make sure it doesn't sound too distant). Hope this helps!

I have trouble with this too- I usually have to do a few takes before I get the sound just right! I always turn the Line In waaay down on the Volume control panel and hold the mic angled somehwat away from myself. I shout towards it, but not directly into it.

Yeah I yell a foot or so away from the mic.
That way you dont get any puff and stuff.
